I read a post that suggested backing up programs on your computer in case your computer crashes- well I am terrible at this and have never done it, but my question is... can you back up onto a cd the autos just in case, although if your computer crashes and you have to change the hard-drive doesnt that change things as far as codes?  Thanks for any response.   :o

I just recently had to reformat my hard drive then I had to re-install everything back on here. (actually still have some to do..lol )  But I always try to keep everything backed up cause I used to make web pages & on occassion would lose everything cause of computer problems.  I have my autos backed up & they had new codes when I put em back on here so I had to email & get new passwords....but was lot easier than having to download em again...thats my opinion.. someone else can probably answer your question better.

Burning your autos to a CD is absolutely useless.  You can download them from the site at any moment in just seconds.  Your pass codes will be different anyway.  This is a myth that someone started.

Thank you both so much for the response.  Barbara, that is exactly what I figured, the codes would change so doesnt really make any difference.  And you are right it only takes 2 sec. to download them from here.  Thanks again.

yes it was just a myth that someone had started on here a few months ago.  and depending on the speed of your computer it only takes a matter of milliseconds to download again.
