I've been building too...I must admit I think that's why I'm playing with such a fury...to get things to add.  It is started to get a bit cluttered though.  I haven't learned moderation yet.  Just got third badge...woohooo.

Yes, if you read the HOW TO PLAY, it tells you, that if you hit new game, or when you leave and come back, you lose your year progress, but not your ranks. So dont freak out. Ive learned to read the rules, b4 I freak out on the game being a pest. However I was quite irked when i got booted from there and went from 80% towards rank 3, and when i got back it dropped me down to 11%.

I've noticed that happens with other games too.  However, I've also found that the way around that is to go back to the original room you were in.  When I do that, my previous progress had been saved.

Thanks!  It took 5000 veggies to go from rank 12 to 13...and now 5200 (I think) from 13 to 14, so I can imagine how it's going to be.
