- January 21, 2006, 09:41:42 AMI have been a member of pogo since 2001 amd have only won wallpapers and screensavers. I gave up on jackpots. Now recently I read the pogo TOS They consider you cheating if you exploit a glitch. Help someone by working with them to win. So if you double browse exploit a glitch or help anyone or share info regarding how to beat a game Pogo says your are cheating. Which makes it real easy for them to deny jackpots to anyone at any time just because they don't want to payout

I just read that link and I don't recall EVER seeing anywhere that these "cheats" mention that they will win the JP for you. Pogo doesn't have a clue, it's all about BADGES! ???

- January 20, 2006, 12:15:35 AMSome, ok, most badges i refuse to do by hand. I want the badges so I buy the auto. I will play a new game until I'm sick of it, then it's on to the auto. There are a few games that I enjoy playing by hand, but don't think I don't have the auto on days that aren't worth getting out of bed...lol.

- January 19, 2006, 09:47:47 AMI think pogo will never do anything serious about stopping people from using autos because most or all of the people who do use them are paying club pogo members and I don't think they want to lose them cause they will be losing quite a bit of money lol >:D If i couldn't use autos anymore I'm not sure I would renew my club pogo membership :o some of those badges are just too much to sit there doing them by hand ??? I must lack the patience lol :P

- January 19, 2006, 08:38:43 AMI don't use autos and, in fact, haven't ever used them until recently (I usually just skip the badges for games I don't like, just because I don't care about having them all). I haven't ever won anything more than a wallpaper or screensaver ::) and I've been on Pogo since February of 2002. Knowing my luck, if I start using autos regularly, I'd actually win the jackpot. >:(

Thunder you are too funny thanks for making me laugh. Last year when they had the RDSS glitch going on I used it, got scared when everyone was getting a 72 boot, so I turned myself in. They didn't boot me. :) My kids have got me booted though several times >:D

- January 18, 2006, 05:12:42 AMYou might be surprised at the number of people that use this site that do not use autos.......I personally come to this site for tips on playing certain games and pogo information in general.......just the type of information that Caroline provides. As to the original question for this thread. I am not 100 % sure, but I do believe that pogo can detect auto use. I know that they can pull the logs and most of the time tell if a person used auto's by what the logs say. Some games are a no brainier on most likely cheated (always get all the ballons on pop-it type thing) other things that give away auto use are inhumanly fast times to finish a game, or fly thru the ranks. So pogo can tell if you are using autos. Now, for my personal opinion on this. Pogo does not care that people use autos, and in a way encourages it. Where they used to give out bans for auto use, it is now 72 hours and forfeit prizes. This way, if they don't feel like paying out......they can claim "auto use" for anyone and everyone and keep their precious money. So pogo will not really do anything to stop auto use. Think of it this way. Remember a couple of months ago all the hoop-la over posting pogo images on sites before they were released on pogo (or was it posting their images all together?). They were threatening legal action if not removed.......Well, if they really wanted something done about autos why didn't do that for the auto sites as well? You know they know about most of the auto sites. I have seen most of them advertised in the pogo rooms. Think about...........
