Hi Janet
Yes I did everything it just would not work
on my gaaames and my comp was very slow infact very bad MSJVM
             WINDOWS XP2 AOL9.0 SEC  256mb :-\
do you know what speed ur cpu is?
plus with msjvm it loads quicker because its smaller and its only good for smaller games where as sun java is better for multi-player games.

I had a lot of trouble to until I googled msvm and found an updated version.  Maybe it is the windows xp thing.  Don't know if I am supposed to put links on here, but this is what I found:  http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/javavmdownload.html
Check it out, maybe it will do the trick.  Hope it helps.

on myold puter it has MSJVM and on my other puter it has sun....so some games work better on old some on new....I'm not all that smart when it comes to puters.....I just know enough to mess em up......lol .....just ask my hubby.....lol

Then you'd get along really well with my hubby cause he's the one that messes them up. So bad that I had to get him his own so as not to mess with mine, lol.

sun java loads slower on mine but msvm loads really quick. so i mainly stick with msvm  for most of the games on Pogo.

Did you check your tools>internet options>advanced.  Msvm only works on IE, you must uncheck SunJava and in MSVM only check the 1st and third box which are: Java Console and JIT Compiler enabled.  Then you must reboot.  I had a lot of trouble before I did this too.

My computer was freezing up really bad
I just left in sunjava And I could not get on line fast enough just lagged :-\
                                                  thanls

I'm not sure that java has anything to do with the way or speed inwhich you connect to the internet.......I think it's only used for games
