Nor are they going to flock to see him as they would someone who looks more of a whole package of entertainment. Sort of reminds me of Clay Aiken who made way more money than the winner Ruben Studdard. But since AI gets a cut of their winnings it is their bad. A sample of former winners is really sad: Jordan Sparks, Taylor Hicks and David Cook. None have the star quality needed to continue in this business very long.

- May 19, 2009, 07:44:49 AMI have always believed that American Idol is a rigged show. They favor certain singers during the shows and ignore others. I quit voting when Jasmine Trias had people in Hawaii manning huge phone banks and it still didn't help her. I think the winner is pretty much chosen by the producers from day one. In other words I don't think of this show as a reality show - just fun entertainment.
