I stopped playing this game because of it. I updated my java and it still does it. Oh well LOL

Pogo is haveing some problems in that game. I have been playing it for aobut a month now and that is always people griping about the same thing happening.

My sister also had the same problem.  Updating her graphic drivers seemed to help.  Pogo also has some info about this.  I don't remember just what we used for a search word tho.

This is what they have to say.

  We are not completely certain why this started happening. However, we believe that most people encountering this problem are using Microsoft Java instead of the latest version of Sun Java

I also had trouble with Canasta for a while - I updated my Java and it seems to be running better.   O0

Do what Homer suggested but to check smooth fonts do this.


1) "Right Click" your desktop and select "Properties"
2) Click on the "Appearance" tab
3) Click on the "Effects" button
4) "Un Checkmark" the top 2 boxes and press "Ok"
5) Press "Apply

I just told her to use IE and see if that works better
she doesn't have firefox :(
she is older and don't know much about comps lol

I don't know if i can post this here or not but i will give it a try
my mother in law has a lot of problems in canasta
her cards freeze up and sometimes they disappear

she plays under msn browser and she has windows XP
color 32 bit
Screen resolution  1024x768
java sun
can't find out about smooth edges checked or unchecked (don't remember where to look )

she does NOT have any programs..this happens when she play canasta without programs

can anyone give me any suggestions please?
we already deleted all pogo files..more then once
