I have a fast new computer with loads of memory, never run anything other than pogo and the game player and have continual problems with this player, I play medium have the sound turned off etc. It loses pieces in the game and cannot recover on it's own. I love all the players these guys make but don't understand why this happens each time. I clear my cache after every game using window washer etc. <?>
P.S. love the icons... these are a riot

The problem with the Jigsaw autos is that people fill their OS's full of stuff. They install everything under the sun and have 20 things that load up on startup. That eats up all your available memory.
Please keep in mind, the jigsaw game itself takes up over 100MB of memory. If your computer does not have 512MB memory, the jigsaw game is going to be stored in your pagefile / swapfile (on your hard disk).
The pagefile is 100x slower than "physical ram". The game is going to lag and mess the timings up in the auto.
It's impossible for the programmers to "custom" make autos to suit everyones specific configurations. These autos are made on Windows XP with nothing else running in the background / have nothing being loaded up during startup.
The jigsaw game uses A LOT of system resources .. so if your computer is 5+ years old, chances are it won't work for you or only work partly.
Thankfully, it appears that this is the only game that uses that much ram / system resources. The rest of the autos are like 99% compatible with everyone.
