Try spraying it on an exposed piece of skin or you could just give the outside of the cast a few shots. I wouldn't worry about softening the cast as long as you don't soak it. ;)

Well, Ive had my arm from the shoulder to my wrist in a cast since june 30th and dont get it off till august 24th and its starting to sink... REALLY BAD... and ive asked some people and they all say use fabreeze.. well i dont wanna spray that on my arm incase id get a rash inside of my cast cuz that would make the whole thing worse...
