i finished rank 50 with just under 11,000 chests. Got the chest badge about 2-3 days after rank 50!

It totally depends on how you play the game.  You can concentrate on winning the game, and your chest count will be lower. That's the way the auto runs.   If you concentrate on opening the chests, you might not win as many games but your chest count will be higher because you credit for the chests you open even if you lose.   :D

its strange how much the treasure count varies on everyones rank...i saw someone who was at rank 49 and they had 13,000 chests..im on rank 36 now and i only have 5000..i think i shall have to play this game through twice,in order to get all the chests..
