Thanks --to both of you --still don't understand but the ctrl and wheel work so I will do that.
I tried the other and there is no place to change the size that I could find only the style.  Someday I will understand this thing!!  NOT!!

Shoes, I started having the same problems last nite.  My puter was working fine, I rebooted it then my grandson got on to play a game & everything was lot bigger, desktop icons, all text, etc.   :ooo  I tried changing stuff but couldn't get it right.  Been messing with stuff today (trying to be careful tho cause don't wanta change too much & have my autos not work, lol ) Anyways, not sure what I did but got everything back to normal now I think.  But that was wierd cause I never had that happen before.  Hope you got yours working ok.

try adjusting your browser text size

if you are using IE7 make sure you aren't using the zoom feature in the lower right hand corner of the browser. It should be set to 100%

Homer once again things got smaller, but only on this site?  Any ideas?  The print is so small I can hardly read it yet all other sites and icons on desktop are what they should be.  O+O

For desktop icons:

Steps for changing desktop icon size.
1. Right Click Desktop + Choose "Properties"
2. In the Properties Window click on the "Appearance Tab" at the top.
3. In the Appearance Window click on the button called "Advanced"
4. In the Advanced Appearance Window choose "Item:" from the drop down list and choose "Icon" and you can choose desired Icon size. By default many users will see 32 x 32 pixels but this can be changed to whatever you want.

For browsers:

Depends on your browser in IE7 you can change it by going to View>Text Size

Do you mean text size for your desktop or in a web browser?

thank you Homer--now I just can't find the right setting--800x600 is to big --and the next sertting that I can click on is 1024x768 and that is to small--the more to the right I go the smaller it gets and left is to big. What should it be set on for a good text--like I had bdfore!!
