java 2 runtime environment standarad edition v1.3.1_02

That would be your problem right there. v1.4 has been out for a year at least. Download the latest Sun jvm from Sun's download site.

If anyone has a version earlier than 1.4.2_06, please download the latest. Not only will you prevent some of these issues like Nichole reports, but earlier versions of Java have a security hole. While I don't think Pogo would exploit the security flaw, they could exploit it to detect autos. More importantly, malicious sites might exploit the security flaws to harm you.

at the start of the program it will move one card whether
it be a ace to the top or a 5 over on a 6 and then it stops working
it will not move another card. i have tried installing and reinstalling
and no luck.

Please make sure to give as much information as you can when you have technical problems.

Here are some things that will help:

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 200, ME, XP etc)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program

You get the idea the more information the better
