- February 09, 2005, 08:27:35 AMI asked someone about this and was told that because winning a prize or the jackpot is all up to luck or chance, Canadian law doesn't permit someone to claim prizes based on that, so they ask the math question instead and when you are correct, you can claim your prize. I don't know about Canadian law....I live in Texas.
