My IE wouldn't load anything.  It just sat there in pogo doing nothing.  It didn't even pretend to be loading something.

I wasn't able to get anything to load so I contacted live chat and he had me download firefox and I got right into Pogo yesterday.

Today I am back to using IE and it is working fine.

Wow great ... lots of replies!!  Thanks so much everyone!!  And I'm sorry you're all having problems too.  I guess that's my FIRST clue, lol.

Now today and tonight (Saturday) I don't seem to be having any loading issues so far.  Yesterday and last night were a complete BUST! I downloaded JAVA ... (more than once, because it requested JAVA over and over again) cleaned out cache, JAVA files, temp files, restarted puter, went from IE browser to Google Chrome and back again ... and nothing made the slightest difference.  Finally after many hours of frustration I realized there was nothing I could do could do to resolve the issue.  The issue really belonged to EA Sports, not me.  So I tried something I hadn't before ~ and it resolved itself immediately.

I turned off the puter and went to bed!   huh.gif

There are lots and I do mean lots of complaints about the games not loading in the Pogo forum.   People are trying to get things worked out by cleaning their cache, reinstalling Java, changing browsers and all sorts of stuff, but nothing is working so it must be a BIGTIME Pogo issue.

Again I guess the only thing to do is wait until the problem gets solved.  Hopefully soon.    tumbsup.gif

I have been trying to get into Omaha Poker all day and it won't load.....first time that has happened.  I think Pogo is screwing around again with something.     swear2.gif                     Hopefully all problems will get fixed before the year 2013.      hysterical.gif

Is that the only game you can't load, Yoming??  I'm having trouble with a lot of the games not loading ... panic button.gif

Thanks, Dis.  I did it and turned off updates although "NEVER" was not a word choice.  Anyway, thanks very much.  I'll be happy not to get those annoying pop-ups.  xoxoxo

The "never" option is not available to me.  The best I can do is "monthly".  I have XP on this old laptop.
I too have XP on my backup laptop so I went in search cuz it does not have the Java icon in the Control Panel except in the Add/Remove. I found that it is hidden inside the Java folder in your program files. Go here: C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin and you will see a bunch of stuff but also that little coffee cup icon of Java. Clicking on that will give you the Java Control Panel AND under UPDATES.... that box to uncheck for the automatic updates. Now my laptop will not get auto updates thanks to your mentioning this.
