I just read in the forum about someone taking out the yahoo bar and there Jigsaw Detective worked.  I did a search and could not find where it was written so I am asking anyone in here what did they mean by undoing the yahoo bar and how do you do it.  Thanks
Bree

4.3? Doesn't show that on Badgehelp. Only that v4.2 (is now released).

I've been trying for over a week now... I have nothing running in the background. Firewall/Norton disabled, system tray empty, etc. I've tried EVERYthing.

well chances are..you are just gonna have to work with it.  Mine wont work if anything else is running..meaning firewall...virus program..anything

mine did that with Sun Java.  drove me nuts cause I couldn't figure out what was wrong.

I use IE...I actually have nothing checked under Advanced..well neither Sun Java or MS Java.  only thing checked it JIT Complier (whatever that is).  If you have that unchecked it won't run fast at all.  Accidently did that to mine and coudln't figure out what was wrong.

Never mind....  was a joke

I click start - it picks up the pieces with the magnet, then when it sorts out the pieces for the frame (left, right, top, bottom) it throws a bunch of them in the Right pile before sorting them.
THAT's my problem...

I've tried Mozilla, IE and Netscape (netscape, noooo goooda!)
I've tried Sun Java and MicroVM (yes, they have been updated)
I've tried different combos of Sun and Jit, No Sun, just Jit (compiler, if you're wondering) NO jit with Sun, etc etc etc.
I have the latest version of JD (v4.2)

MicroVM works the puzzle in IE but it takes over 15 minutes to complete 1 puzzle on "Insane" - same time on Slow.

Whatever, seems I can't get a clear answer on why the auto is just tossing a bunch of pieces without sorting them first THEN decides to sort them.
It's almost as if it doesn't quite put the magnet down.

What do you mean you have to press start??  When I load Jigsaw Detective..I have to press Start Game..then click play for it to go to the first puzzle. Once that loads I click start on the auto and it runs fine.

The only time I ever have an issue when after it completes a puzzle and the screen pops up that shows your progress..it will click OK fine, except when it says "New Image Unlocked" then the auto goes nuts.

But everyone has to press start, if I'm understanding you correctly.

Ok, I downloaded the new java from sun v. 1.5
the sun java loads the pogo games in mozilla but won't load games in IE.

I'm trying desperately to get this game to work.
Can anyone think of ANY suggestions?
I think I've tried nearly EVERY combination of browsers and java settings. Did I forget anything?

Please make sure to give as much information as you can when you have technical problems.

Here are some things that will help:

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 200, ME, XP etc)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program

You get the idea the more information the better
