Stuck on puzzle 12, can't get at the bottom 4 stones with anything. It seems people have passed this, is there a special trick?

I did complete this. All I can say is that it was easy on some levels and harder on others. I mainly used the star swapper and hypercube to do the harder levels.

I'm not a fan that you need to get 3 stars on all the puzzles to get the last badge.

You have to keep making matches within the game. They will in turn gold. On the middle where you cannot get the one I used the hammer. I also like using the star swapper and the hypercube.

I have been stuck on level 7, Golden Meteor, for the past 3 days and any help would be greatly appreciated on how to turn the board gold.  Thank you in advance for any tips/hints!!
