I also had the same trouble with Sushi. It was a simple fix. Use microsoft VM and move your hardware acceleration down 1 notch.
I then finished all 50 ranks in under 2 weeks

I think Sushi doesn't work with Sun Java. I tried the shareware and the same thing happened to me.

I decided I want to buy a sushi auto, however, I am not impressed by EE or Sushi.  I think sushi is supposed to be better, so why then does it just sit the grabbing the same elchie untill the screen over flows?  I'm beginner difficulty.  Anyways, the shareware ran out and I haden't one 1 single wave.  :'(

1) OS - Windows XP Prof
2) Browser - Firefox
3) Color - 32 bit
4) Resolution - 1024x768
5) Smooth edges - unchecked
6) Java - Sun
7) Action - Descirbed above.

Well, Sushi will be permately off my list unless I am convinced to buy it by using it on my other computer.
