I checked the Game Award Badge Album when Pogo came back up and found that there is a new badge for 6th Street Omaha Poker.  The "Rising Star badge - Get dealt four hole cards of the same rank to earn this badge".

I believe I've been dealt that before, before there was a badge for it...

   Are 4 hole cards the original 4 cards dealt? Would that be like a 4 of a kind on what you get dealt from the start?

    There's also those unseen 1-6 badges. I have a gut feeling omaha will be a rated game soon for badges.

Well there's 50 ranks...so statistically, going by other games, like Aces Up among others, I would say Rank 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50.  I expect since they threw that one on us, they won't let the others go to waste, and will eventually toss them up as well.

I hope so i am on rank 12 and it would be nice to get something for it.  Also the hole cards is the first 4 cards your delt and it would not be 4 of a kind since you can only use 2 from the first 4.

i very much doubt the 1-6 badges will ever be released.if u look on certain badge sites u will see that the omaha 1-6 badges have been changed to new badges

   I've never been an ace at poker so could some1 please explain to me what it takes to get this badge? I don't grasp the 4 cards of same rank part. Thx in advance

Wow...  It was late, I was tired and copy and pasted that info right out of the book.  Now that I look at it... That's odd wording, isn't it?

I was thinking it meant the same suit.  I guess it's not, but I wonder why it doesn't just say 'four of a kind' instead of 'four hole cards of the same rank'...?

Hmm...  It's gone from sounding like an easy badge to get, to being one of the hardest.  Has anyone ever been dealt a four of a kind?  :-[

i got 4 fours no badge can someone plz tell me how we win this one.ive won the 2 other badges in there thanks.

i got 2 fours in my hand and 2 fours dealt to me in a row on 4th card dealt...i got them 2.lol this one will be tricky to get thanks for reply barb..

i mean i had 2 fours in my hand..then i got dealt another 2 fours.dealt to me but no badge

All 4 cards must be in the original 4 you are dealt. Hope that clears it up. ;)

no only got 2 then dealt other 2 later..so im guessing u need to get 4?in first hand

  I think the odds are best when playing in a private room with one other player. If any1 is game, pm me. I work from home and sleep whenever. I'll play pogo anytime lol.

Since the requirement says "get four hole cards of the same rank" i'd agree.

Jokers would drop the odds significantly  (2342.6 to 1).

i hit 4 aces this morning 2 wild and 2 natural,so must need to be 4 natural hole cards to get the Rising Star badge

Been bustin' my... ok... auto has been bustin butt for those badges, haven't gotten one yet. ugh! I'm on Rank 7 so far.

Funny tho, seems you can't tell how many more spins you need for next rank, like in Texas, you can click on your rank and the percentage til next rank appears. Anyone figure out how to tell how many more spins you need in Omaha?

I have an idea but dont know if its good or worth it ,   can you keep standing up , before your intital play , untill you see cards that you like  ???????

Finally got my first poker badge....royal straight flush.  Took 7 ranks and over 800 games to get it.  Haven't come close to any of the other ones.

I have got all 3 of the omaha badges.  I got 2 4 aces and one royal and one of the rising star. 

W2G!!! I just got 3 queens on my opening deal. Closest I've come to anything.

I am soooooo mad right now, I figured I'd use my husband's account to play against myself in Omaha so that there would be less competition with the bots and it backfired.  In 102 hands, his account got the Aces and Royal Lush hands.  Mind you, he doesn't have Club, so he don't have the badges to show for it.  I've played enough where I'm up to rank 9, I'm not going to do that again, I'll just face the bots. 

Congrats to all the people who have gotten the badges in this game, I'm happy for you...just not with myself.

Seems liike this will take forever. I've won 581 hands, Lost 1147 hands, on rank 10, won the King of the Table Badge a few times, and the Royal lush badge once. 

i dont know if this hurts ranks or not..but what i've been doing..is whenever the "hole cards are dealt..i stand up if they arent 4 of a kind..then i sit back down and it restarts game without playing the whole game...this is in a private room against bots..just seems to go quicker since yur only looking for the first 4 cards dealt

I gotten 4 7s the very first day, and that was the closest I came so far. Got the royal lush badge today though.
