Has anyone else seen this? This is taken right off of the pogo site. It sounds like pogo might be coming up with something.
Just say NO to Cheats and Auto Programs!
Help us turn the tide on the constant struggle against people who want to capitalize on our community with cheat programs. Refusing to use, buy, or distribute cheat programs will discourage cheaters from targeting our games and players. If we stand united as a community and don't offer support to these bad apples, we can keep cheating to a minimum. Working together, we can keep our community cheat-free and fun!
Remember, using programs that automatically "play the game for you" is a violation of our terms of service. Players who use any of these types of software programs are liable to be suspended and/or banned from their Pogo account. In cases where players win a prize by using an auto program, the prize is forfeited. Pogo does not award prizes to players who have used cheat programs.

This is nothing more than a trumped up version of their little blurb in the TOS agreement. I highly doubt they are going to start raids on auto users, as this would put a serious dent in their cash flow. Imagine the horrors of thousands of chargebacks!!
I live by my Badge Hog inspired mantra: NO FEAR. It is a recently adapted attitude, yet one that I stand by firmly. I told the Hog today, "If I go down, I go down knowing that I got this far." He and I share the opinion that we aren't going down as long as we don't get greedy and attempt to cash in on a prize, nor a jackpot. I am going all the way!!! I don't need a prize, just those badges.

Exactly. I just got back from dinner and the people checking out in front of me made a $50 issue out of $1.25. Money is truly the most addicting drug in this world and it shows more and more all the time. Maybe it's the heat, I dunno. I just see how $$$ brings cause and effect to this world and it makes me very sad.
If pogo is griping about auto use, it's because they are not making the $$$ on it. Yes, I understand that customers complain. For that, I can see why pogo in concerned about losing $$$. Still, pogo is trying to satisfy the paying customers. That includes us, whether they admit it or not. This is why there is more suspension than banishment.
Until the world wises up and goes back to the barter system, we will have war, politicians & autos lol. I actually mean this in a sincere way. I am just releasing my steam from waiting to be checked out for a half an hour over $1.25. I see how $$$ makes the world spin and just shake my head.
Just pay your yearly pogo fees and all will be well. You won't win a jp, but we know this. ???
They seem to be parsing a little between "cheats" and "programs that play the game for you". EA needs the income, and as such they are not in much of a position to go on a "auto" witch hunt. Heck, they don't even seem to want to commit the resources to offer even mediocre customer service. I doubt they are going to hire additional staff to look for auto users, who are paying money to be in Club Pogo.

I went out and purchased a Senseo Coffee maker with the extra large water bin. I have that puppy set up on my desk. Now I don't even have to leave the room to get more coffee. I love Wednesdays!!!!!
Oh my! Max calls at 9:45 am on Wednesday and I always wake up and stumble to the kitchen and say, "Big noise, it will be over soon." It is my coffee maker grinding the beans. By this time he has had his cup full, opened a fresh pack of Pall Mall and has a strategy in place. Maybe that is why he has beaten me EVERY week in getting those badges quicker. This week he was typing in 8/9 and I was 1/9 in Tri Peaks. I have never once gotten a weekly badge before him. Hmm, this week I may have to rethink that staying up until 5 am thing. Nah, not gonna happen.

I was recently in a squelchies room that was pretty full for 3 a.m. Someone came into the room and said, "(screen name) are you there or on auto?" Well, the person never replied. It was funny to see in chat though. It did seem like this person was asking a genuine question and not realizing what she was asking.
There is alot of that in chat these days....Are you there? (no reply). Not the best way open chat. Many times, it is probaly innocent, though it draws attention.

To the post about the tokens, and not responding to chat..... I know alot of people who turn chat off because used to be it would be bla bla bla. I know my chat is usually off, don't mean I am on auto. ppl can win huge amts of tokens in high rollers poker... wcs. As for using autos..... I love em. I use them in tight spots.

I go into the same game rooms every day. And there are lots of times I go in for awhile, and go back hours later, and see the same screenname. So what? Maybe they went to walk their dog, maybe they were too lazy to log out. Who cares? Some people have nothing better to do then go into a room and start trouble. And for the record, IMO, autos do not cheat. Autos "help" me. So there. :P

in www it is VERY possible to have a high winning streak. all you have to do is eat that first veggie and it counts as a win. i have a 97% winning and thats only because it took me a couple of weeks to get the hang of how to play.

I never could imagine someone getting so excited seeing a Terms of Service on the pogo site or anyother site for that matter.
Who cares if any of us cheat? It's just a game. It doesn't matter how the badges are won, there's no extra credit or style points for playing without autos and glitches, none for playing the game with one hand or even blindfolded.

Its sad when people get so worked up about us using autos...we arnt hurting anyone by doing it.... We dont claim prizes...The way I see it if this is the only hobby I have to keep my sanity while my hubby is out to war, its all good. I don't see anything wrong with someone talking about being banned.
I did have an account banned a few years ago, before there was a paid service. And I was banned for running my mouth and I didnt cheat back then. I didn't lose very much, maybe 20000 tokens. I've learned to ignore people in chat.
