Title: Mural art
Post by: SI on March 06, 2006, 09:04:58 AM
Just got this email from a friend, and had to share:

The beautiful work of artist, Eric Grohe.

Before photo - typical concrete & stucco facade:

Preparing the canvas - plastering the wall surface:

The wall starts to take on a 3-dimensional appearance

Eric in his element, 30' off the ground. He does most of the artwork by himself & researches, paints and designs each project from scratch. His wife  Kathy, also an artist, serves as project manager.

This is incredible. I can think of so many places that art work like that should be placed to improve the overall surrounding areas. I would love to see more work of this person if I can find it on the web.
