Post by: trixiepup on March 06, 2006, 10:08:15 AM

it won't start a new game for me
I saw people with the same problem have posted but i wasn't sure if it was resolved or not
I don't mind waiting on an update..playing 1000 point games so i still move up in rank before i have to click new game

I just played a quick game to test it.

Make sure you are using version 3.0

It worked perfectly for me. Here are the settings I use.

XP
IE
32 bit color
1024x768
smooth edges unchecked
VM

You might try deleting the pogo game files close your browser and try again.

If you need help on how to delete the pogo files let me know.

While your at it first clear your cache by going to

Tools
Internet Options
General Tab
Delete Files
Click OK to the popup and it will begin removing the files.

When that is done click the button next to it that says Settings

Click on View Objects
A window will open that shows your pogo game files.
Find the one for Spades and right click the file and left click on the Remove option.
This will remove your current Spades game files.
Close this window and click ok to close any open popups.

For good measure reboot your pc then go back to pogo and try again.

When you go back to Spades you should get a popup to reinstall the game files. You want to do that so click ok or whatever the command is that pops up.

1.) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)?
2.) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)?
3.) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)?
     4.) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)?
5.) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked?
6.) What Java you are using?
7.) What agent are you using?
8.) What version number is this agent?
9.) What specifically is the problem?

Uncheck the smooth fonts.

If you received a password that doesn't work you will need to resubmit your registration code and receipt for a new password. Double check you registraion code and leave it open until you receive the password.

error 42 means you are using old spademaid. Delete that and use 3.0
