I am new here but not new to Pogo. Today when Shuffle Bump came out right away a huge amount of Leagues started their things. What made me really mad is that they claimed the rooms as theirs and this and that ... sorry but just had to vent !! Not saying all the Leagues are like these but ...

Yes we all saw the leagues trying to stake their claim of a room. Every multi-game league wants to be the 1st one out the gate to get things running in an attempt to gain more members. While it is annoying, it is nothing against Pogo's T.O.S. and all you may really do is mute those players and disregard any requests to give up your seat if asked.

yeah i ended up taking at least 3 screenshot and sending them into pogo
there were host in rooms DEMANDING people leave the rooms cause they couldnt find seats to run their tours...
they told me i had no right to be sittng playing against a computer in their Tourament room
i told them have fun finding a new place once pogo bans your league lol

My solution for them is to turn my chat off.
Ok thank you. I wasn't sure if it was against Pogo's Rules or not but sure did make me mad at times. It is already hard to find people to play with and then when you in these rooms it is even worse. Oh well .... :-[
I heard though today while people were talking about the same topic that Pogo is making Leagues Rooms. Is that true ?

It's a rumor at this point. Pogo will probably deny it like they did the Premium Badges (they say they weren't going to charge for additional badges and yet they did) and in the end, we will see "Pogo Tournaments" all over the place. But for now, stand your ground and if things get out of hand, take screen shots and report the violators (harassment is against Pogo's TOS).

When I'm in a room and they say these things? I say, MAKE ME! Then I make the laughie face and tell them not to argue because I can't see them because they are now MUTED. That just makes'em madder than He** :))
And besides, it's not a very diplomatic way to gain members for their leagues, is it?

Sorry if I ask another dumb question but there are Leagues that charge money. So how can they charge money and use Pogo Games ... isn't that against the rules ?
I belong to a tourny league and the rules there are you cannot make or even ask a pogo player to leave, I have heard somewhere that pogo wants to stop the tourny leagues because of certain leauges being rude to players, mainly my league, which I have never played there but have been told by many that they are rude and make pogo players very uncomfortable.
Just play your games and ignore these people, and remember that no one has the right to ask you to leave, ummm except when pogo kicks us off :'(

Well, that's a ying and yang question. Most leagues operate using a site like "MyLeague.com" aka Cases Ladder. While it's free to sign up on there, you have the option of purchasing a special account which will enable you to earn more "buxs" (fake money) and use to enter tournaments. It's up to each and every single person if you want to purchase these accounts as it helps keep the server running but by no means can they tell you "You have to purchase an account to join this league". If they do say anything close to that, take a screen shot, report to Pogo AND MyLeague.com (or wherever they tell you to sign up) and that matter will be addressed.
And there are no dumb questions, just dumb answers!

i have always enter a room where there was atourney going on and never have i run into a rude one yet i just play and let it go not all the tourney ppl are not rude gl with the rooms you enter
I never ran into a room either that has some rude people from tourneys until today. When it first came up this morning for about an hour there were only 30 men room available. The further it got into the day the bigger the rooms got but before that man they were so rude and fighting for every spot they could get. i went into several rooms and that was the #1 talk

This is true. I'm a "tourney person" and we're not rude but I can say that I've jumped around in MANY MANY Shuffle rooms today and ran across more rude hosts than I have ever combined. I don't know why this game brought out the rude ones but it was just insane today. I guess people have been waiting 3 months for this game that today brought out the worst in them. I can only imagine how they are acting now that the game is back on the shelf!

that what i say i just go play and watch them play there game nevering saying nothing but i have seen other ppl jump them for having the tourney in that room so on some of the tourney do get jump by when they start there tourney and that is not fair either all room are for every1 i say dont like the tourney ppl go to other rooms me i like watching them play and see the score
Some are rude and some are not. I like to play in the rooms with tourneys going on Ususally very lively chat. But I only go to certain rooms that I know people are nice. If its crowded they start using backdoors to get in.
As a long time member of a big league (not cases). I have hosted thousands of tournaments in yahoo. I have seen both sides.
I think that (cases) has a problem with the way that they give a league to anyone. There is no perequisite.
Also I think that people that host in yahoo come to pogo thinking they can get away with the same stuff they do in pogo, which is not true.
MY OPINION: (for what it's worth) I think pogo should ban leagues.
Every league I have seen in here has been totally rude, even the one that I have hosted thousands of tournaments with.
well i think pogo should make tourneys room just for them ;D

That would be great, problem is they would charge for it.
Anyways the leagues would not like that at all, no way to recruit.
And we all know they are not supposed to go to another leagues room (pogo rule) and it's a cases rule too if the league has the room locked.
(I still think cases is a joke)

Today in "Shuffle Dump You Out of the Room" was the first time in three years I have ever encountered rude league behavior. I used to participate in Lottso League play until the chain letters I kept getting from other league members drove me nuts.
Only one time was I asked to leave a room, and it was a polite request, not a demand. I was in a Fortune Bingo Tourney room and it was full of Tourney members. When the room maxes out your chances of getting a bingo go down and you know for sure they aren't gonna share. It was a very nice request, so I honored it.
But the rooms in Shuffle Bump were awful. I just turned off chat and played my game...
i was in a room for bout 20 minutes and i can say omg first time i have seen so many ppl fighting cause tourney was form so fast in there i just left and went to another game but i dont know what happen i came in on the tail end who did what so i left

When they start to get belligerent, I've found that a nice "I'm sorry, who died & left you G-d?" or "bite me, ladder-boy/-girl" works... :oo They'll either ignore me (win), or say something "nasty" enough to warrant reporting them (win). Like I said, I only do that when they try to *gulp* hijack the room.
Hey, if they wanna get nasty, I can fling it with the best of 'em :))

You may do it one of the two ways I use. One is by pressing "PrtScrn" on your keyboard and pasting it into PaintBrush. Then save as a .jpg or .bmp file and you're good to go. The second way I use is software call "Capture" which may be downloaded from: http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/system/capture.htm All you do is press one simple icon next to the clock in the bottom right corner and it automatically saves a .bmp picture of the MAIN window on your screen (not the wallpaper, icons on your desktop or anything else you don't want in the image... including "proof" of running an auto!)
Now, last time I sent a "help" question, they had an option to upload images. I believe it still an option but I haven't used it in a while. You may try there.
