You can also use Trillian to combined AIM, Yahoo, MSN, & even ICQ into one program. I  <3 Trillian, because I can sign on to my AIM, Yahoo, & MSN in one click.

I used Trillian yrs ago but the only thing I didn't like about it was.
I could not log in to be invisable to some. So I got rid of it. Might be diff now, dunno..

dit. dit. dit .

Can I really talk to anyone who uses Yahoo! Messenger?

Eventually, yes, you will be able to talk to anyone who uses Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. But for now, your Yahoo! Messenger contacts will need to have the new beta version of Yahoo! Messenger with Voice in order to talk to you.

:o    You will only be able to exchange text messages, no files (so no Sharing Folders either), no Winks, no audio/video, etc.

- You will be able to check each others statuses, but "Away" still shows as "Online" in Yahoo! Messenger. Therefor, you have to set your status to "Busy" if you want to show as "Away" on the other end.

- Group conversations (ie. more than 2 participants) are not supported.

- You will not be able to verify the e-mail address of a Yahoo! contact, so make sure you add the right one.

As you can see the compatibility is strongly limited in this first stage.
