yes.  but as long as you don't claim any prizes on pogo you win, or you announce to a room your using one, or doing anything equally stupid, you should be fine.  Were all long term cheaters here and we are fine with the no prize thing

I just started using autos myself, and am still a bit nervous, but I'm in no way going to blab this to someone, and there's is also no way I'll win a jackpot prize. I'll be lucky to get a screensaver   :P

Like I said, Im enjoying them so far, so I say go for it!

Hi and welcome to Pogocheats!! O0

I was SOO scared when I started using autos. IF I hadn't spent money on the package, I would have not used them very much at all because I just knew Pogo would detect the use right off the bat. I didn't know about Pogocheats.net, which is a really good, reasonable place to ask questions and get support.
It's normal to be nervous at first, just use good common sense.

For instance, you might want to alternate your badge collecting, if you have more than one auto, because some of the autos get ALL of the game badges very quickly Wonderland Memories and Stack Em are two that come to mind- I think I had all of the Wonderland Memories badges within a couple of days, which, in retrospect, is not a sensible thing to do. Other players are nosey and wonder how you did it..

One thing I haven't seen mentioned which I think is smart to do and which I learned to do after I found out that a room was talking about me being in there so long was this: Change rooms every so often, especially during the day. I was using Tri-Peaks auto pretty much 24/ 7 in a room which I KNOW is a tournament favorite, and that the room regs. are very possessive, and I forgot to change rooms for a couple of days or so,  :)).

I played all night, and had this funny feeling about the room the next morning while my auto was still winning. I quickly left the room and signed  on with my other account and sure enough, someone was talking about how I had FINALLY left THEIR room.
I didn't chat or anything, I just wasn't a room regular. BTW, it's the first room in Tri Peaks alphabetically... I don't like those people now. LOL, but apparently they didn't report me- or at least, I didn't lose my account as this was months and months ago.

Another thing: Have an answer ready if you go into a room with your chat on, like for a weekly challenge badge to check your progress, and someone questions your number of tokens/ badges or both.
I've been a member of Pogo for over 6 years and Pogo says so on my profile, so there's not much anyone can say about my token count or badge count, but if you are relatively new and someone sees a lot of badges or tokens they may ask you about it. If you ignore them or tell them to butt out, it will just make them mad.
The very best and most sensible answer is to say that you and your family use the account at different times of the day and night. No one can argue with that!! :) A lot of us have it in our profiles that the account is a family account for the nosey Nellies in Pogoland.

The best thing is never to chat at all when using an auto, or even when NOT using an auto, as this seems to be how most people are losing their accounts. I have to admit that some of the challenges drive me nuts if I can't see how well or badly I am progressing, so I turn chat on and read the green letter stuff about my progress. Wednesdays are the ONLY day my chat is on ,and thanks to Badgehelp, it's only on for a short time. :)

Have fun, cheat well!!! :-*

That's what I'm doing :) I'm playing different games a bit at a time.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned which I think is smart to do and which I learned to do after I found out that a room was talking about me being in there so long was this: Change rooms every so often, especially during the day.

I hadn't thought about this until I played the Stellar Sweeper auto. I start one game, and not too long later, I got a perfect game. I was hapy. I love that game and I CAN play it on my own, but I never got a perfect game before. Well, then the next game, a "perfect game", and the next one after that. It was then I noticed that the game announces that for all to see. I began wondering if people would wonder why I have a perfect game with every game. So now, I do switch rooms often, or sometimes I'll even purposly click on a crystal so I won't have a perfect game all the time.

That is so true..when I first got my auto's I was soooo afraid to leave it run.. thought the   ;:" would come get me   :)))

I don't think that, but I do get nervous that pogo will find out somehow and ban me from every playing the games again. I love Pogo. It's what keeps me sane after I come home from work every day.

This may be a dumb question as I am fairly new to Pogo (signed up Sept10th), but what is the point in using cheats if you decline the prizes?

I thought the whole reason for playing pogo is to win, and when using cheats, is that not why someone uses it, to win? So if there is a risk to losing your account for using cheats when claiming a prize, what is the point in using cheats to win?  :(

Well, first off welcome to the forum.  Second, if you read the TOS (Terms Of Service) from Pogo when you became a member you know using autos is against their TOS.  Knowing that, why are you here?...lol

We use autos because we are badge-mongers!  We want all the badges...lol  If you think about it, there are always over 200,000 people on pogo...some members and some non members.  That still makes your chances of winning anything like a hat or coffee mug 1 in 100,000 if you play in the member only games....lol

If you want badges and hate some of the games or can't do a specific challenge, then get the auto for that game.  If you're like most, you will want the complete package because it saves you money.

People that use cheats don't care about claiming prizes. Its all about the badges and tokens. Ive been a Pogo member for quite some time, and cant even win a screen saver, not that i need one :)))
I'm a proud member of the cheat community and of the 150 club. Okay I have to admit I'm badgehog <..>
Title: Re: pogo cheat programs
Post by: SVN69 on September 17, 2006, 08:24:46 AM
I guess I understand now. I am a token freak. I am not much on cheating or using autos, although the idea does sound tempting...lol. I have a little over 100,000 tokens since Sept 10th and I never even knew there was a way to set any game on auto.

Here is another question. How will Pogo know if you were using an auto when trying to claim a prize such as a mug or cap or something? Can you not just tell them, if they ask, that you never used a cheat? And as for money prizes, do people actualy win real cash, or is it just a hoax to get people to use their site?

Anywho, I can not be using any autos cause they seem to cost money and I am not into paying for it. (Yes, I am a cheapskate, took me forever to decide to pay for Pogo in the first place.)

Happy cheating everyone.....

Pogo can tell from your java logs if you use an auto. You don't have to tell them they already know. If you win and try to claim a prize they will audit your account and java logs. Which will show that you play at a speed that is not possible for a person to do.  That you click the mouse at the exact time intervials which is also not possible for a person to do. They can also tell if you run your auto 24/7.

Thats all that I can think of. :-X

One more question for the new cheater in town then I will go and have fun with my new poppit auto.

What prizes do they check if you claim a prize? Can I still get screen savers and wallpaper, or no?

Oh and one more thing. If I set my auto up to run over night and I happen to win something while I am sleeping, how does that work if I want to decline the prize? I do not want to wake up and find that my account has been shut down cause I did not decline a prize.

Thank you all for all your cheating help here. I feel kinda bad that I am cheating, but I do like how I am getting tons of tokens....lol

Oh, sorry, one more question. Should I set up the auto to lose some games, like make it find the sulotion with 6 or less baloons, that way it will not look like I am totaly cheating by winning every single game I play?

Ok thats it, no more questions for now.

That's 3 questions ;)

The only thing Pogo checks if you try to claim a prize/jackpot is whether they think you've used an auto, if they think you have you wont get the prize/jackpot.  If you've ever used an auto I wouldn't bother claiming anything.  As for the wallpaper and the screensavers you get them whether you want them or not lol ::)

How to decline a prize while running an auto overnight I don't know but I'm sure if anyone here knows they'll share that info.

Running poopit overnight is easy.  Go into a full room under the topics banner.  Play 1 game and check out the high score list.  If the scores in the high score list are well over 900+ chances are those people are on auto and playing the game on level 3.  In your case play the game on level 1 and don't worry about the settings on the auto, just let it rip O0

Welcome and happy cheating! :/\

When did the autos start appearing? I mean, I know it is probably after Club Pogo and badges arrived, but I wasn't aware of BH until mid 2005.

I hope it's OK to ask this. I have  wondered how long true auto programs ( not mouse clickers) have existed on Pogo.

They went through some changes with names and products in the early years. They were officially BadgeHelp in Feb. of 2004

Wow, I missed out on a lot of autos then. Thank you for the information. I really appreciate it. :)

I bought my first 2 autos "sleepy slotz" and "roulette runner" way back in either 2001/2002 from a place that's no longer around :ll They used to spam the chat.  Back in those days we actually used to have mentioned in our profiles that we were "on auto" ;) Ah the good ole days :)))
