Title: Burnt foods help
Post by: gator8_24 on January 11, 2007, 02:56:41 PM
Ok, I made chili today, it was supposed to be simmering on the stove while I played with the pigs fly trial. OOPS! I forgot all about the chile and I burned it!!

So here's my question, is there any cooking hint that will take away the burnt taste in foods?  I figure it was all Pogo's fault  :)))  But I couldn't tell my family why I forgot the chili!

Yes... definitely.... before your family eat... follow step 2 in "Deer Roast" recipe... I guarantee you... if u keep doin step 2... your family taste buds will be so shot... they will never taste burnt anything.... but swear out ur the best cook since KFC  OR PIZZA delivery came about......

If it burns don't stir it.  Pour into another pot and the burned stuff will stick to bottom of original pot.  Works for me.   <..>

Yeah, I did the stirring of the bottom,. had to throw it out, but the good news. Made another pot last night and no burning!
