Title: General Question ????
Post by: LilMrsFoxy on November 25, 2007, 12:45:40 PM
I would like to know when I switch my connection from local connection & my wireless from same computer & I go to use the auto it tell me to reregister it. I though if the auto way downloaded on one computer and it was registered you didn't have to do it again. Example of what i'm talking about - I registered auto for makeover madness throught my wireless I switched my connection to local connection and it's tell me to reregister the auto again. and it's the same computer. I like useing my wireless it's send & recieves mpbs 4x as much but there is times I local connection. and if I don't have the right connection when i registered the auto then it tells me I need to register it agin WHY IS IT LIKE THAT WHEN I AM USING SAME COMPUTER.  winter23.gif

The programs are registered to the pc you downloaded it to. The program will not work on a pc other than the one it is registered to. Internet connection has nothing to do with the program remaining registered.

When updates to the programs are done occasionally it will not recognize the registration and will need to be registered again. In this case just go to http://www.badgehelp.com/lost.html and fill in the required info and they will issue you a new password.

That happened to me before, even if it's the same computer if something causes the registration code (as I'm assuming the code is created by an algorithm that uses certain settings inside the computer so that you can't just copy them to another computer to use) to change such as an internal hardware change or a service pack update, you'll need to re-register your autos, even if it is the same computer.

I use this computer on 3 different ISP's and never have a problem with the auto not being registered because I am using a different ISP

The only time I have had to re-register the product is when I updated the program and it didn't recognize my registration.

I'm on Vista, and for whatever reason when I load Mahjong Deluxe and the auto, the auto can't find the game window and the game wondow is there, but it looks greyed out like it's in the background.

I did, and now it's causing Mahjong to close with a message Erroor:  Access Denied and a whole bunch of numbers, then it says program will be terminated and it shuts down.  I was able to play it fine without the auto up, but as soon as the auto loads, I get that message.  I will try Poppit and see what happens.  My guess is it's a Vista thing.

Okay, with The Poppit Show I did not get the error message and it played the game but very slowly.  It kept saying Ballons In Motion, 4 times, then it would say "Re-Solving" then Balloons In Motion and then it would finally click a set and then start all over with the same messages, no matter how fast my click settings were.  I decided to try TowerPower again and so I changed my screen resolution to the highest setting and this time I got no error message at all, but it just kept analyzing the layout, the tiles would kinda flash like they were being clicked on, it would list which tiles were being matched, but never clear any of them and it ran through the whole auto trial in less that 60 seconds.

Poppit Show does play slowly because the ballons move every so often causing the auto to resolve the remaining balloons.

It sounds like your Mahjong auto was already expired. Unfortunately there is no way to reset the trial. I can tell you however that the mahjong auto worked great for me and finished the whole game up for me. I forget how long it took though. I think it was somewhere around 2-3 weeks.
