Title: Dominoes-DotBot
Post by: Runner on December 13, 2007, 06:17:17 AM
Good Morning All!

Is anybody else having problems with dotblotch?

For me it sticks like crazy. ( can't  find a place to play last pip) It just sits there and says "Reading Board" But does nothing.

Also this auto is going to literally take  forever to finish this game. It does not play Dominoes, it places pips. It keeps blocking itself out.

example:  5 sixes have been played. I hold  6/6 & 6/1 , Only place to play is off of a 6. It plays the 6/1 thus blocking itself out.

BH please actually make this program play the game.

Not just move pips to anyplace on the board.

Hven't tried the auto for this yet as the badge seems pretty easy to get by hand.  GL

Delete the one you got and make sure you have the latest version of the auto they just released like 2 updates over the course of a few days you should have version 3.5 i had problems too before i updated it.

I have ver 3.5 for DotBot and I have ver 1.6 for Domination they play better but when the game gets another pattern to unlock it will not click on it so you still have to baby set I am sure they will fix that soon

Now let me quote from the BH website:

DotBot runs your pogo dominoes game for you on Pogo.
It's about the bones, baby...
We understand you have better things to do than sling bones around for hours on end. Let me introduce to you...DotBot. The worlds smartest pogo game dominoes auto slinger. This Bot knows her way around the pogo dominoes. Make no bones about it, once you unleash the DotBot on your pogo dominoes game, you'll never go back to playing it yourself.
Play dominoes on Pogo...get your online pogo dominoes game going, get the dotbot rolling and the next thing you know, you can play dominoes online automatically....boo yeah.

The way I read it :  NO BABYSITTING NEEDED

We paid for an auto that needs no babysitting.  I think they should make it that way.

You should submit a TSR as that is the only way they can read your specific problem

I think that both Dot Bot and Domination fall far short of what they SHOULD be capable of doing and as far as I know, are not being upgraded. My Dot Bot plays stupid domonoes when double 5's is present. Also, both autos scroll and scroll looking for the ends of the game board. Totally inaccurate, and I can't get mine to play for any period of time without it stopping play to just scroll around the playing field.

After a while, Pogo kicks me off line. I HATE THIS !!! !!!

Well In all it was just some humor.

But the real problem is that the question was never answered.  There was no mention of  "We know about the problem"  "We are aware of problem and plan on fixing it within 2 years"  or even "We are working on it & an update should be out the 2cd Tuesday of next week"

and on the side BadgeBabe  and just some fyi :  Mayhem owns this site.

I miss our Pet thread here. ( I think there was one, LOL).
Your Romeo and Juliette are so sweet. They remind me of my Bogart and Bacall. Are yours brother and sister like mine?

Nope not siblings.  I just kept thinking how cute it would be if their puppies certs said the parents were Romeo and Juliette.  LOL

Last year when I had my cancer problem, my friend decided I needed a puppy to cuddle.  Then she decided I needed 2.  LOL  So that's how Romeo and Juliette came into my life.  Juliette is is a needy, affectionate little thing.  And when we go in the car anywhere, she MUST ride shotgun and she looks at herself in the cars side mirror.  I don't know how 2 such little doggies could bring so much love and laughter into our home.  Our pure bred mutt is the same way, so awesome.   <3

You were told to submit a TSR now do it or shut the hell up.  !@#$

Why would we answer any of your questions? All you do is whine bitch and moan and refuse to submit a TSR. Not to mention your insults towards those who try to answer your questions.

If you call a plumber to fix a leak in a pipe, the plumber comes to fix it, fixes it , charges you, and leaves.  The next day the pipe is leaking in the same spot, are you going to call him to fix it?  Try and get your money back? :-\

In the time you took to type your last post you could have sent a TSR to BH and whatever your problem is would get fixed. They don't ask for TSR's just for kicks. It gives them the info they need to troubleshoot the program.

LOL I wasn't actually watching you to see how long it took you to post. I was just using it as an example. Nowhere in this thread have you said you submitted A TSR. If I knew you had submitted one then I could have inquired at BH to see if they received it and where things stood on it.

I just checked with BH and they say they haven't seen any DotBot TSR's. The TSR should still be in your BH folder if it isn't you can go to your sent mail folder to get it. Resubmit it to badgehelp@aol.com
