Basics
The Basics
Pogo™ Addiction Solitaire ...this ain't your momma's Solitaire! Unlike many games of this type, this card game is a fast, easy-to-play variation of solitaire without any concealed cards. Sure, it requires a little strategy and planning, but the game moves so fast you can finish a game in just a few minutes. And, with a little luck, you'll win more often than not!
The object of Pogo™ Addiction Solitaire is to arrange a deck of cards so that all cards of the same suit occupy single rows in ascending order, from 2 to King (Aces are omitted). The rules are simple...in a field of 48 randomly placed cards over 52 spaces (leaving 4 spaces open) you may move any card that is one greater and of the same suit as the card to its left. Each time you move a card, the empty spaces shift location. If you can get all the cards arranged as mentioned above, you win. If you get stuck with nothing but Kings to the left of the empty spaces, your game is not necessarily over - you get several reshuffles and a few power-ups to help you out!
Pogo™ Addiction Solitaire contains features not found in other solitaire games. Every field of cards includes 2 power-ups and 3 special items that may be unlocked during game play. To unlock them, simply move the specially marked award cards to new spaces. The power-ups, once they are unlocked, become immediately available. In addition to power-ups, you can unlock bobble-headed "Pogo Buddies". The Pogo Buddies do not have an effect on the solitaire game, but when ten are collected you get to play the Tiki Brothers Bonus Game. Lastly, instead of a Pogo Buddy, you may get a "token gift". This gift is unlocked when you win a game (which gifts tokens to the user and another player in the room. For details on these unlocked items, see the Power-Ups, Pogo Buddies, and more section.

Win this badge plus 500 tokens!
Badge 2: Correctly place 100 cards
Win this badge plus 600 tokens!
Badge 3: Correctly Give 2 token gifts
Win this badge plus 700 tokens!
Badge 4: Win 3 games
Win this badge plus 800 tokens!
Badge 5: Win 3000 tokens
Win this badge plus 900 tokens!
And sorry, but I just realized these badges are set up for testing purposes on the beta site. But still gives us an idea of type of stuff in game.
But here is some more interesting stuff I found on the "How to Play" page:
There are 5 mini items specially made and only accessible by playing Pogo™ Addiction Solitaire. Each of these mini items can be won by completing a perfect bonus game. There is a chance (about 20%) that you will win a mini item each time you get a perfect bonus game. If you don't win the mini item, or have already earned all 5, you will instead be awarded a whopping 2,500 tokens bonus (for a total of 4,000 tokens).
If you win a mini item, just go to your mini's closet to check out the new item!
Pogo™ Addiction Solitaire is an exclusive game for Club Pogo members! You can win great prizes just by playing the game.

I like this game too. There are alot of things that pogo has added to this game as perks.
Game window is very interactive also, lots of things to click on etc...

Is anyone having problems with token count, mine is not adding up correctly it will show jackpot spin, but not add bonus tokens or gift. When I leave though it was there the second time but not the first on my home page.

Yet another game on Pogo that I wont be able to play. I have full membership and of the new games out this year I can only play safari. When my subscriptions is due for renewal I wont be paying for it. 2 hours of waiting for the darn game to load and nothing. I have tried IE and firefox and rebooting and all the usual stuff. I am not paying for games I cannot play. !@#$ >:((

The robo blender is actually from word riot and pogo accidentally dropped it in everyones closets, lol. You are lucky! I am on rank 15 and I have only won one item and it took me forever to win that one!
I am just playing until I get all the gold cards then getting new game. Ranks go a lot faster.

I think they said 5 total. SO far I have the pogo hoddie, spike cactus hat, and pogo buddies forground. I have heard people talking about a scooter and I don't know what the last one is yet.

I am only rank 2 but its a fun game. I want to win some of those mini items though!
I just hit rank 13 and have played quite a few bonus rounds. choose a specific buddie and leave that one to the last pick every time and you'll get it eventually.
VERY good tip! I like that one.. I am going to pick one the next time Iget to the bonus game.
i really like this game .. i aint going to buy a auto until i get fed up with it .. and it gives out good tokens also but i aint bothered about tokens lol no good to me only to buy mini mall stuff
What is wrong with people. I was just in a room watching people fight. One lady insisted that she was calling people out asking who wants the tokens when she wins and has a bonus to give away because, in her opinion, every person who didn't answer must be using an auto and she wasn't about to give tokens away to cheaters. Some agreed with her and some told her that not everyone who didn't answer was on auto, they might have kids playing or chat off, or were AFK. But she ranted all over the place, yelled at the few who disagreed for trying to tell her what to do and ruining her fun then she left.
Have a feeling this token giveaway is going to be yet another thing for people to harass other players with. (O+O)
I despise the token "gifts". All the idiots have to thank everyone all the time. :-[
i know what you mean about thanking people for the gifts..tokens...etc..i can see doing it once or twice,but some people expect you to thank them every time..most of the time i dont even pay attention to the screen to see what i got from someone,you spend all you time thanking people and you have no time left to play the game..
I agree. When I am actually slaving away, playing by hand, I don't watch the screen because I don't chat. I got pm'd telling me how rude I was for not thanking him/her. Whatever. I said "Hey, did I ask for the tokens? No, so in the future, keep them to yourself." >:((

True, and this game is worse than the others. I didn't even know I had ever received any token gifts until I checked my stats. It's not a big window pops up. It's just a tiny fine print line at the bottom of the screen that flashes real quick and unless you are staring at that space constantly (instead of oh, I don't know, playing the game?!) you miss it. Then people are all over you for not saying thank you. !@#$
I can't believe Pogo felt like that was a good idea after seeing the "thank you" fallout after Word Search, and at least in there you know when someone has given you something. If they're doing the gift thing, at least they need a big huge flashing banner announcing it.

Well people either love the game or hate it.I personally grab my buddies and hit new game. I have noticed in doing so that pogo limits your tokens actually won in the bonus round[no surprise really]...twice I won 4,000 but was only awarded 1,000 but no biggie to me. As far as the gift giving I think the ty's and yw's have gotten way out of hand. I usually keep my chat on and glance at it once in a while. I ?.? my pants when I noticed someone accused me of cheating when I did not thank them for their damn gift :-[ Chat is now off....way to go pogo!

I think the ranks must be wrong, because if that is the case I got 190 buddies and should be past rank 10 and am only at 6. Half the time I don't get the right amount of tokens anyway Pogo needs to do some more work on this one.

Was asked last night who wants it, me or someone else. I told the person to give it to the other person because I don't like writing thank you cards. This made the giver >>:D because I didn't want their gift.

i wonder how people are ranking up so fast in this game..even using the auto,i dont think it goes through the ranks that fast..whats everyones elses opinion..do you think it goes pretty fast? im only on rank 19 now,and its been almost a week..
I finished this game a few days ago. You need to hit new game after you get all the gold cards. that's all you need to rank up fast.
ive been using the auto and checked just look for bonus cards,i still dont think it really moves along that fast..
If you check your pogo badge book you will see what they say for ranks--but they are wrong! But far me it for me to tell Pogo that! civilwar.gif That what would happen to me!
I also do not think the auto goes that fast and I too start new game after gold cards are used. The thing with doing that is I don't have to give a giftZ!!! :!! Is is Christmas already!!?? winter20.gif

same with the next badge it reads 300 buddies (rank 20) - it's 300 from 19-20 or 2565 in total

I am so glad to see you vented all that anger about the game addiction!
I was feeling really bad about my feelings about the way some of (almost all) of the people get about giving out tokies and WAITING for the "ty"
I have actually sat and watched as they start to bad mouth the people who don't reply to their gracious gift! When will they clue in that it is random......a choice from two, but still random!
If the next "new" game is like that with free gifts of tokies or whatever, I refuse to play it, or get the auto, I am thinking of quitting Pogo altogether and giving my membership "as is" to a family member, once all credit info is finished which is in 2 months, I will not update it with the new credit card numbers. I had no idea that Pogo just helps itself to renew your membership, I would rather pay through paypal or check.
EA has ruined Pogo, it used to be fun, now you have to dodge all the lamers who are looking for gratification!

First badge is at rank 10, I just got mine last night. Unless there is a secret badge I don't know about. I also got the little Pogo scooter mini.

The auto has some flaws, it needs to be set up to where if you have a free move power up and there are only 2 gold cards left it has them switch places.
That would speed the auto up an easy 30-40 %

Huh? :o I do not think Pogo Addiction Solitaire is one of the downloadable/trial period games. Or maybe I am trapped in a parallel pogo universe.

I believe ALL BH autos have a free trial period, when it's done you either buy it or forget it & do by hand. It is not like the downloadable games pogo offers, this is a regular pogo game .

Thanks for the info, arnie! I found the Pogo Buddies and the Scooter. That might be all I have gotten. The Spike hat would most likely be under the Hair catagory, right?
There's also a Pogo hoodie, which my mini wants to win in the worst way!

My mini won the chest of gold and jewels in TriPeaks Deluxe.........that should be at least enough for a gallon or two :)))

::) I will let you all feel better..... I am on level 17 and have not won any of the items. It really sucks cuz when I finish the bonus round correctly which I have done over and over and over..... to only get tokies really makes me want to pummel Dr Kathleen with her calming candles.

I hate the gift giving, I just want to run my little auto and be left in peace instead of having to be gracious if someone happens to throw me the bone of a 1000 tokens. I won the spike hat, which does not go with my glam mini...........a tiara would have been much better.

And actually I was so sick of someone doing caps <b>THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH</b> and after I realized that it was not being sarcastic I said "Cripes, It was only tokies.... XXXX gave me a kidney." But the more I think about it ... this may just be the way those that are extremely shy and lonely are able to chat online so I do not say anything at all anymore and do not let it get to me.

If 'they' would read it clearly says Pogo gave you etc. I never reply to all the TYVM , have to pause the auto to do that! Also DLady, I had to search my closet to find the items from the game, never got any kind of popup etc telling me I just won (or I ignored it) lol

It has been awhile since I finished this one. As far as I can remember it sure does. Just make sure you do not have that setting checked for it to focus on buddies only. You have to complete the game to pass as far as I can remember. Good luck and wtg on your new pogo hoodie (OO)

I set AE to run and in 3 hours time it has gotten 4/10, so it does indeed pass the token gift. I was beginning to wonder since it was taking so long!
