Title: jigsaw detective problem
Post by: Jazmyn on June 01, 2008, 12:19:05 AM
Seems like every time I try to play this game on hard level, it won't save my progress. I get to the 5th puzzle that should be the next new puzzle & an old puzzle loads instead. When I refresh all progress is lost, I'm right back at the beginning. Has anyone else had this problem?

Theres been quite a few including myself with this problem over the last few weeks, (the puzzle not progressing and repeating old puzzles so you don't progress). There's quite a few posts with advice to get round it - works for some not for others.  I think its probably a pogo problem as with the battle phlinx issues.

But if its just on hard level as squid says try a less difficult level  tumbsup.gif

I played Trial period of Sherlock till it ran out, but on Medium & it played fine. Dont no if it would stay that way if i had the game or not.

Not saving progress is a pogo issue.

Once I start a case I don't leave the room until it is finished.

There are a lot of Pogo issues with this game, especially when it comes to saving progress.  I have all the badges for the game, have done all the puzzles, but it still shows some cases as incomplete.  It's a pain.

Thank you all for your input & yes my problem was with Pogo. I was playing by hand ,not auto. I switched back to medium & having no problem. I only asked you guys because you are always so helpful with all problems. I am always here even though I hardly ever talk, I just thought maybe there was a little trick or something for getting it to work right on hard so I don't have to do so many puzzles. I did try to get help from Pogo first, but you know how that goes...
