Hi All
Can anyone help me please. Oberon xharged me 6 times for a game and I have sent copies of the statement and they say they can't refund and to choose more games which I don't want. How do I get passed the emailing which is no help at all
!@#$
That happened to me when i bought Operation Mania. I did not have a problem getting over charges corrected. I sent them a email listing the dates and amounts of overcharges and which card had been charged. Sorry you are having a problem but they did corrections quickly in my case
They played this same thing on me 2 yrs ago with Lottso Deluxe and wanted to give me a new game but there were none out other than Lottso Deluxe. I finally called the credit card and THEY saw the double dipping and felt that it was obviously something wrong on Ob' end and canceled the charges and credited my account. So call your credit card (number on the back) and tell them to take a look at it and see if it looks the least bit correct to them. Good luck.
Dispute the charges with your credit card company
Thank you all tumbsup.gif
Yes,your credit card company will send you a form to fill out and they wil look into it and see that you were overcharged.Good luck and let us know how things go.

Has anyone else had problems purchasing the games from Oberon lately? Ive used 3 different US based credit cards and still am unable to purchase the games or get into contact with Oberon. The 877-721-3537 number is for a recorded message. Im going crazy wanting to get games. girls18.gif
Greetings,
I have had nothing but good luck dealing with Oberon Media. I made a duplicate purchase and Customer Service exchanged the duplicate for another game. I have gotten into the habit of savings all my Purchases...it really does pay off.
Good luck with your gaming,
S1lent
I downloaded a trial version of Samantha Swift then purchased the full version online through Yahoo Games. They charged my credit card, but I was unable to activate the game. The error message read: "You have to be connect to the internet to continue." The problem is, I was connected to the internet. Tried Firefox and Internet Explorer and got the same error message. I called Yahoo, but was redirected to Oberon Media. I sent an email, tried to call, tried to search out a solution, but found nothing. I want to get my money back. I will NEVER buy another game from Oberon Media.
I'm contacting my credit card company tomorrow morning.
I'll keep you posted as to what happens.....

There is nothing wrong with the games hon. It sounds to me like there was an issue with your internet connection.
I have purchased several games from Oberon and have never had a problem. The multiple charges that others have talked about are glitches; not deliberate attempts to rip people off.
Have you tried Big Fish Games? I bought a one year package from them so that games will only cost me $6.99 and they are the same games that Pogo has.
I've had great success with Oberon.
I've done well with Oberon. I think there must be another issue at hand.

That must be super stressful, try buying like a 25 dollar prepaid giftcard ( visa/mastercard) can get that at most local supermarkets , takes any chance of being overcharged away ... hope this helps shocked.gif

I've wondered about this. I don't have a credit card and would like to buy a couple deluxe games. Has anyone used these prepaid credit cards to order from Oberon before?

Yes, I do all of my online shopping with a prepaid card. I also have it linked to my paypal so I can use it through there too.
