Title: Jigsaw GPS
Post by: shoes on January 17, 2009, 03:38:10 PM
I have 2.2 and all it does is open the drawer and take out the pieces and put them in the corner and hit the magnet over and over.  I don't want to work to get 10,000 tokens for the badge.  They funny thing is when this start I upgraded to the 2.2 and it did not work, should have kept the old one as it got me to rank 50! What do I need to have the settings at and any other help please.

Thanks Homer, but I followed instuctions on how to submit TRS and I do not have a file in the badgehelp folder.  I have never been able to find the file, any other ideas?

Thank you.  I know that I am not the only one who has said that they can not find or do not have dat. file.  Where else could I look for it?  Make it easy as I don't understand a lot about computers. girls21.gif

I could never find mine, either... finally I went to the BH folder from a different path.. try this:

Computer (or MyComputer) >C:>ProgramFiles>BadgeHelp  Then, don't click on anything in that folder, but scroll to the bottom and the file is called TSR.dat

:^*

Start a new email to badgehelp@aol.com.  Attach it as a file by going through the exact same path you used before and then click on the TSR file!

The only thing I ever got was an automated response letter.  And as to 'will it work?'  Only if they work on it and update it.

Back in the day, when I sent a lot more TSR, there was the automated response and usually a followup email. There was also frequent updates to the files people sent TSR for and spoke about in the BADGEHELP blog they provided.

Now, the response is not as fast. I would buy them a beer if it would make things better.

:))) Not much just a bunch of people with the same complaints as us.

My question is this, though:  Do they get better action when they gripe on the blogs?  Would going to the blogs finally get some action on FloDinerDash, Operation Mania Auto, etc.?  I love BH and my autos but I must admit... things move slowly, if ever, in many areas.  I would love to start dependably working on DinerDash and Operation.

No, they all complain about the same programs..........I have complained and sent TSR's for months.  Pogo keeps coming out with new games, so BH has to work on those and the others get put on the back burner.   :((

I am still waiting for an update to ZIPEAKS months after the game was launched
I am still waiting for DOMINATION to play for longer than one hour.
I have not tested DOTBOT for more than 15 minutes. It took 15 months to get an update to that client after Pogo gave it ranks. Instead of using the client I PURCHASED, I had to finish the game manually because the client would not play for more than one hour.
I am still waiting for an update to RED BARON.
The list goes on.

Also, I have not purchased the $5 new programs ($5 because I am a 150-club memeber) since August, 2008. This is because since May, 2008, I purchased many AT FULL PRICE as a satisfied customer, only to find that the clients worked poorly and had promises they would be fixed "in a few days."

I will by BUYING new clients "in a few days" as well. Customer service has really taken a nose-dive. I am holding BadgeHelp to the standard they set a few years ago.

I know my autos of a few years ago still work better than today's.  I have not bought any autos for the to go games as I have read so many complaints.

I had problems on one game generating the .dat file but I kept at it and it finally saved to the folder. I have sent out 4 TSR's and each one of them was answered with an automated email but then a day or so later I was sent out an email to "delete and update with the fix". With Badgehelp on your side .... Pogo is toast!

Squid, me too.  I have pretty much finished all the games except the to go games.  The autos just dont work reliably for Dinerdash or Operation. I need to be able to trust them to run dependably which they dont at the moment.  Oh well I still The Poppit Show to do.  I will be playing that game until doomsday to get that last badge.   :)))
