Title: Pogo Token Dumping
Post by: curly on February 19, 2009, 01:00:31 PM
Would it be possible to get a token dumper

For : using 4/6 browsers at once, on the same pc.

I have multiple pogo accounts and my screen name had 150 mill.

I am wanting to boost the name back up.

you actually want your screen name to show that many tokens?  i am dumping mine into the daily drawing... 6 mil a day til i get back down to about 30-40 mil.  when it gets higher, people are more likely to notice you in the room, which i certainly don't want if i'm running an auto.  there's also a lot of money to be made by stealing tokens.  i'm talking about all the scam sites and such.  u will be more of a target for people to steal your account.  hope you've got a complicated, alphanumeric password and not something easy or related to your screen name...  mine is 10 characters long, and so random i had to write it down.

Why in the world would people want to steal tokens? They're as useless as tits on a bull.  undecided.gif

I dump all my tokens into prize drawings. I keep my account at a nice, low level, to fly under the radar.

If I ever "won", I would not claim the prize. beer11.gif

There is a certain subculture on pogo that thinks having more tokens than you can see on the game screen is cool. The thing I don't understand is people who pay for tokens.

I am trying to get rid of my tokens but I don't have time to sit and double browse so I can give them to my kids.

I guess it's the same as us wanting all the badges. And no, I don't understand paying for tokens either. Thanks Homer.  tumbsup.gif

Now there is something else I don't understand: why enter when you know you could never claim the prize? Same as the poster in Germany who won $50.00. Doesn't it also draw attention (maybe) if one wins a prize and doesn't claim it?

If you want to keep tokens at a nice level buy everything in the mini mall or play the High Stakes Poker.  bubblegum.gif

I noticed an account in a slot room with over a billion tokens . I don't wonder around much but thought to myself , how could anyone accumulate that many tokens without actually buying them ?

I saw that account too.  I thought they must either play a lot of poker or buy tokens.  I have been losing my tokens to another account to get them down.  I like to keep under the radar too.

Greetings,
One Billion tokens is my goal.  I am getting close...maybe next month.  I have several old computers that just run Turbo 21 24/7 then I transfer the tokens.  The only reason I am doing it...is because I had a screen name deactivated with 300 Million tokens and about 600 badges at the time.  To bad for POGO...they lost lots of money for me buying badges.  I went from three main accounts to two.  BTW...if this doesn't make sense...blame it on the boxed wine I've been drinking.

Create a free account, send me your info, I'll meet you and you can dump.  That's an option, if you like.  No pressure.  blowkisses.gif

Keep in mind I've never done it before but we'll learn!

It is interesting how your feelings about tokens changes over time. I remember loving getting those messages from Pogo about arriving at a new level. Then I strove to be the highest token count in the room. That all changed when we could actually do something with them in the Mini Mall but I was never a big shopper. I much perfer to tell funny stories with my mini and I don't get excited when the new stuff comes out any more. I can remember first reading the Thunderpopper message asking us if tokens were important...........well, duh! But now I donate a chunk of mine to my grandson to go lose in poker and to some friends who don't log on enough to be able to shop. If Pogo has just one actual item we could buy in their stores with tokens - I would spend a million or two or three or ten on a mug.

I now buy everything and anything possible with tokens.

They should offer animated mini stuff for high amounts of tokens or lower gem amounts.

I think they should make everything buyable with tokens. Now that I have so many I am trying to dump them.   giggle2.gif
