Andy Griffith has died.

The TV legend was 86.

He died at his home in North Carolina on Tuesday morning.

One of the greats. If you ever get the chance to listen to his comedy albums do so the one about football is so funny

1 of the greatest southern actors & he will be surely missed. I used too watch his TV show ,The Andy Griffin show with Ron Howard as a yng girl. also other movies. He also was so funny .

I think Ron Howard played a young boy. Even so, we will miss him and enjoy Andy's reruns!

Channel 2-WFMY, here in NC where he lived and died, is running 2 hours per day marathon of "The Andy Griffith Show" for the rest of this week. The channel was all him and his shows (Andy Griffith Show, Matlock, movies he was in, his singing, the house where he lived - it was turned into a B&B a long time ago) and other things such as accomplishments, awards, etc...

They were talking about that on the news last night-makes me want to listen! Shocked how fast they buried him...maybe to keep fans away??

TV Land is having a marathon of The Andy Griffith Show today & tomorrow from 11 am to 8 pm (est). The 1st show today is supposed to be the 1st episode where Aunt Bee comes to live with them. whistle.gif Fishing5.gif popcorn2.gif
