I also think it is 60. But I like to play in rooms on some of the games with less people.
I think it depends on the game. I've seen some rooms with 80-90 but don't recall the games. I know the limit in Addiction Solitaire is 50, but sometimes it's 51-54.
There are backdoors that can make the numbers go up a bit from the max.

I know that as I use to use them all the time to get into uncensored rooms, but they only allowed so many above the 60 Pogo allowed in.
I stopped using the backdoors because they do not work anymore for any of the new Flash games.
If Pogo ever moves all of the games to embedded flash based there will be no backdoor sites anymore, even here on PC.
