Title: More Pogo Games Retiring Soon
Post by: Mayhem on March 28, 2025, 10:34:04 AM
Pogo has announced the following games will be retiring soon:

- StoryQuest
- Winter Wonderland
- Cross Country Adventure
- Paranormal Destinations
- Jewel Academy
- Cookie Connect
- Lumeno

This decision is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering the best possible gaming experience.

As we prepare to say goodbye, we will be offering a Last Chance Sale for these games. The details will be announced shortly.

This decision enables us to focus our resources and energy on creating new games and improving our platform.

New games in the works:

- Poker Hands : with a Twist
- Texas Hold 'Em : Town Builder
- Match 3 : Home Builder

They are also working on updating the Garden Blast event.

I know the games they will be bringing in will be more like the recent additions of GB, SHS, Snow Sol, etc., which means I am inching closer and closer to the door.  It's just not fun like it used to be.  Let's see what happens...

I agree Squid.  Every new game requires lots of power ups to win.

I'm happy to see they are bringing back Texas Hold'em, as it was one of my favorite classic games. I'm not crazy about the town builder part, but we'll see what they do with it.

The town builder may prove costly.  I don't think they're bringing anything back that isn't going to cost us somehow.

I have to agree Squid. I am getting closer to saying good buy as well. It sure isn't fun like it was years ago

I thought see as how these games are retiring I would check if I had any outstanding badges.  Apart from the Purchase the episodes for the first 4 games, I only have badges outstanding in Cookie Connect.  I have 9 of them.  They are the same requirement, Complete Levels with at least 5 Moves left just different amounts eg 1000,1100, 1200 etc to 1900.  I have the 900 level badge so figured I could make it to the 1000 badge.  I played 140 levels (I counted them) and no badge.  I am wondering if anyone has managed to get any of these badges.

I, too, am finishing up badges in the outgoing games.  I'm currently on Story Quest and may get to Cookie Connect tomorrow.  I have at least a half a doz. still outstanding in that game.  I'll update you on  my progress.

I won't be able finish those games, but I'm okay with that.

I can't be sure but if you don't finish challenges in the outgoing games by the time they leave Pogo, I think Pogo just awards you the completed challenge.  I'm doing mine now because I just don't trust Pogo.

I had 8 or 9 badges to get in CC, Raine.  All went well and were awarded.  I hope it's gotten easier for you.  Let me know if you need help.

Thanks Squid.  I have completed all the M&M badges.  The ones I can't do are in the My Collection, Game Award Badges.  I have 9 in there.

I forgot about that, Pogo in the past did award unfinished challenges. If that's the case, I'll get a decent chunk done.

Sorry, Raine, I guess I misunderstood.  If it makes you feel any better, I have 1679 Game Award badges outstanding.   shocked.gif hysterical.gif
