Who's watchin this season....i've been following it from the beginning and I love Bo Brice and Scott Sable for the guys and I like Carrie Underwood for the girls.....I am voting tonight for Scott cause Simon was so mean to him....I normally love Simon he is direct and to the point...no icing on his cake thats for sure!!!

I can't believe I'm going to own up to this!!  I am 31 years old and I watch this show, I even vote.   :-[  I love Bo Bice (yeah!! fellow Scorpio!!) and I really like Anwar Robinson.  I agree with the Carrie Underwood, I like her.  I could do without Janay...how did she get this far?!?!  I have to admit, I have a huge crush on Simon.   >:D 

Well after tonight it was hard to vote....so I voted for Anwar,Nikko,Scott and Anthony....then I kept redialing and voted for Scott over n over for like a half an hour....lol. Not that he has the best voice...Anwar has that wrapped up and will prolly win but I just want Scott to make it to the next level....I don't think he has a lot of family support and I feel for him!

I do NOT like Constantine anymore.....he cannot sing very well at least not at this level in the compitition....Simon is just in love with Bo and I feel he is prediduce towards all the others because of it.....I mean he didn't really give Anwar a great judgement tonight and Anwar was the best of the best of the best......I am a fan of Simons until he acts like this....lol.

Anyway I am looking forward to tomorrow night and hear what the ladies will sing....this is only the 2nd time I have watched American Idol all the way thru the season....it just really captured my attention this year.

go Scott!!!! He's my favorite guy on idol! and for the girls i really like mikala(not sure how to spell it) wooooo go them!

I didnt vote for Bo tonight because I just feel the other voices are better...these rocker guys are ok and Bo is the better of the 2 but it is getting to a different level and I just think there are others who have way way better talent...sorry Bo baby I just couldn't vote for ya tonight.

You know, I liked Constantine when I saw the auditions.  It wasn't until they got into the final 24 when I heard him sing with music behind him that I said...yuck!!!  I didn't watch the whole first or second seasons.  I am still a fan of Fantasia's from last year.  I do agree that Simon seems to have a Bo thing going on, kind of like he seems so hung up on Clay...can he go one show without mentioning him?  

I will admit, I had my mind made up that I was voting for just Bo even before the show started, but I ended up voting for Anwar too.  When he sang tonight, I was speechless, it was like hearing him for the first time.  I wanted to slap Simon for not acknowledging that he was the best one of the night.  

  Well , I'll be the first to say I have never watched it and will not allow myself to. There are two reasons.

   1) The music debuts in the actual Billboard charts and had actually debutted at #1 some of them. The songs suck in my opinion. Also, even The Beatles themselves never debutted at #1. It seems like a very bad joke to the true artists that took years to get their success.

   2) I don't even know this guys real name. He got discovered on American Idol. He is also a major character on my soap One Life To Live. His acting is worse than his singing, and yet he sings on the show quite frequently. His soap character is Duke Buchanan if anyone here follows the show. Still, yet another Idoler that got a job that a true actor that worked years should have gotten.

     

Hi all, Scott Sable is from Ohio as well as i am, the city he lives in is like 25 min away, i really don't like his looks, but he can sing, He is usually all over our local news, he has lots of support from the area, My fav is Constintine, he's HOT-lolol--I'm 30 and Ive watched every single season, i loves my reality TV shows, especially real word/road rules challenges, the new one started tonight the inferno 2. hagn all!!

This is about the only reality show i watch....some of the talent this season are from bands too not just plucked out of no where....the rockers are both from bands they left to come to AI....but hey what can I say about the actor/singer....thats show business baby!!


Now my true favorite show on TV at this time is DEADWOOD on HBO...the new season started Sunday night it is awesome!!

I bought the dvd set of the first season like 2 days after it came out in the stores....this show just blows my mine i think it is the best best best thing on TV right now!!

I like Mario Vasquez and Scott. I also like this Federov kid, but the comparrison to Clay might kill em....The girls, well Im just not sure yet, I will reply again after tonight about the dudes. It is all so manufactured once the final 12 are in, they fix the hair and all, makeup and image so anything can happen I think...

I have to totally disagree with you. First off, I haven't heard him sing once on the show and I watch it everyday besides taping it. Second, his name is Matthew Metzger and he is a good actor. Better than some cheese balls I've seen on the soaps.

I too like Scott because he's from Cleveland, a hometown boy. But I also like Anthony and Mario. Bo is pretty good too and so is Anwar. The guys are going to really throw some competition in there this season.

Janay should have been gone after last week's show. I do like Mikalah. After Simon gave her some criticism, she sure toned down her brashness. She took his advice to heed.

Simon is one of those people you love to hate and hate to love...my feelings for him change every week....sometimes I'd love to cuddle on his lap and kiss him all over and other times I'd like to slap his face right off his head....lol.

me neither.over here in england.we have pop idol,popstars (which is for groups) and american idol.so we suffer 3 times as bad lol.but we all have different tastes,id rather take a trip to the dentist than watch it myself.but lots of people must like it,to be the huge success it is.but please keep simon cowell.steal his passport lol

Well I can tell you what got me hooked this season....I decided I was just gonna watch the beginning because I LOVE a good laugh....and some of these people who cannot carry a tune in a bucket were just too too funny....I never laughed so hard in all my life.....and Simon's reaction to them was just priceless!!

Then I guess I just got sucked in .....I'm weak....I need help....is there a 12 step program out there for American Idol Junkies?????

Can't do that....just bought a bigscreen....hubby would flip....he loves playing the vid games on it....lol.

No matter the show will be done soon and hopefully I can tear myself away from it next season.

I do watch good TV tho...Deadwood,House,Medium,24, those are all my favs....thats about it otherwise the hubby has the TV...he watches American Chopper which I like also...thinking about visiting there one day...also going to plan a trip to south dakota to the real town of Deadwood...I can't wait til we go....might be able to swing it this year even!!

lol...can't through mine out either and I tried to not watch it but it's like an itch that won't go away.  I do watch House, saw it after AI and got hooked, I hope they keep that show.  I also found myself liking Point Pleasant.  I haven't seen Deadwood but everyone says it's really good so I might watch it next time it's on.  What's worse than AI?  Nashville Star...ugh, unless they bring back Bret Michaels  >:D as a judge next year, this will be my last year watching that. 

I am surprised Nikko didn't make the final cut...Constantine is soooo lucky cause I didn't think he'd make it....yippie to Scott I hope my voting for him for half an hour str8 helped....lol

I wasn't surprised at the girls......I think the winner this year will be a guy tho....Anwar is soooo good and lots of people like Bo....it will be interesting next week to see some of these singers have to sing out of their genre

I'm surprised Nikko didn't make it either, I'd rather of traded him for Constantine, but oh well.  I'm happy for Scott, he's got a good voice and sweet nature about him.  I'm just curious to see who goes first next week.

LOL too funny that is exactly how I got sucked into the whole American Idol thing as well.
The very 1st show of the season was on and I thought what the heck I'll watch it...and I laughed my arse off...some of the people that honestly think they have talent are too funny.

Now here I am and I honestly cannot wait to watch it lol

I think hes just ok....I love Scott cause hes a big guy and I guess cause I used to be big I feel for him....he wouldn't stand a chance of a singing career without AI...Simon even commented on that in the early auditions...so I hope he gets as far as he can....I don't think he will win tho....I was sad to see Jessica get the boot she had a great voice ....I am a big fan of Nikko and Vansell....she has come a long way.....she blew me away with her Whitney song last week!!! I hope she can keep it up....she just might win it! Carrie is ok too but she's not done anything really really good lately...so she needs to kick it up a notch..Anwar is good but hes slippin too...Bo and Constantine keep rockin the house and I love them too....good thing I am not judge they all would win....lmao.

I watched the first 2 american idols..then missed the third one cause I had class during that time. 

However, this time..I Love Carrie!!! I hope she wins. 

I can't wait to watch the show tonight....anyone else noticing how Simon acts like he doesn't even want to be there...sheeesh he is getting on my nerves....this show is paying his bills and with his attitude .....to me he doesn't deserve it lately!

Just saw my FIRST episode of Idol last week.  I was tired to being out of the loop, and decided to see what all the fuss was about.  I wasn't impressed, so, I'll stick to Jackass.  I had to check my sugar level after spending one hour listening to Paula Abdul's sugary comments.  However, that Bo guy is sure a hottie.

Hello everyone, just wanted to throw in my opinion of American Idol. I've watched each season other than the very first--I simply adore Simon, mainly because he is honest, if brutally honest. Out of this season my favorites seem to waiver a bit, such as Carrie. I really liked her to begin with but the past two weeks she just hasn't done it for me. I love Bo's voice, Anwar's voice, Nadia's voice. Vonzell isn't the best singer, but she is a great performer and a pleasure to listen to. I don't care much for Scott's style of singing, Constantine can't seem to sing his way out of a paper bag, but the boy sure is hot to look at lol. Nikko? Don't care for his singing. I liked Jessica, wish she hadn't been voted off last week. I never ever ever cared for Mikahla or Janae.  As for the other two judges, Randy sometimes gets on my nerves, but he's decent. Paula? Way too pleasant and sugary, I believe someone else said.

Yeah, they announced that last week in the news and the reason they didn't boot him is because he told them at the beginning about his former arrests.  Although, I don't condone his behavior, I've been at the receiving end of someone being mad at me over custody of a child, I do know that in situations like that, it is too easy to lose your temper.  That is why my older child no longer sees her biological father.  Some people change, some don't, hopefully Scott learned from it.

I also hope that Scott has learned from his mistakes...we all make them.He is trying to make something of himself and wants it to benefit his child from what he says so thats a step in the right direction.....I will not judge him for his past mistakes.....lets see how he handles his life from this point on....people have overcome bigger and badder things than this.

Well the bottom two deserved to be there this week, but i would have liked to see scott go home before Nikko, was pretty disappointed in that one... But I guess the wait for next week is on who can tell.  :-\

Well I think they will all get recording contracts anyway like Fantashia said.....they all sing so well LIVE...most singers today don't sound as good as these contestants live....so kodos to them ALL...Carrie was very good and Vonsell this week!! I will miss Nikko I liked him too!

very funny about nikko.  i thought the same thing when i first heard that on the audition shows.   i do not think a contestant should be related to anyone well known - although i found out after season one, one of my favs and one of the final 2 - justin guarini, is the cousin of samuel l jackson.......   i guess it should just be nobody's who sing GREAT!!!!!  just my opinion!!!

Yes I saw it but i don't agree i think it should have been scott personally, he sounded real terrible last night, and not much better tonight.

I stopped watching it after one of the shows where two of the judges really loved the singer and gave him high praises on everything he did and then that Simon jerk told him he basically "sucked" and said he was off the show. Why do they have three judges if Simon can overrule them?

Because Simon is the secret boss, without him there's no show.  As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with Simon 99% of the time.  As for Nashville Star, I only watch that because of Bret Michaels and he seems to be the Paula of American Idol at times.

in the uk,we have a new show which is similar to pop idol and its called "hit me baby one more time" with faded pop singers like,tiffany,shakin stevens,gloria gaynor,t'pau.belinda carlisle.Far too many to mention
we have 5 different acts each week and the winner goes through to the final.I'm sure the USA will have a version of this as well soon

Hey everyone....i havent been around for a few days...been outside in the SUN!!!!
I am glad Nadia is gone her vocal range just didnt messure up to the other girls....i love Vonsell and Carrie.....i think the next 2 to go will be Scott and Anthony....i like them but they are not as good as Anwar or Constantine.....i was not liking Constantine there for a while but he really improved....it is so funny how they can sing one good song and you love them all over again!!

i dont feel Scott sounded horrible last week...he nailed the chorus and sounded great but the low tones in the beginning...wow he needs to work on those...NOT good....hes getting a bit cocky but i still have a soft spot for him.... i still believe he will be gone in a week or 2....i wish him luck in the future.

I'm a big AI fan and spend the whole 2 hours after the show voting. I usually split it up between my 2 favorites. I really liked Scott and Anthony from the beginning and I still like them but I think there are better voices out there. Constantine has really come around in the past few weeks and he's going to go pretty far. I'm really disappointed that Mario left the show before the finals began. He was my odds on favorite at that point.

I think Fantasia's performance last week was ABOMINABLE!!!!!!!!!! It sounded to me like she was screaming and not singing. I felt like I was at a Church revival. I still think Diana should have won and NOT Fantasia.

i totally agree, i think that fantasia's performance was awful!!  did not do a thing for me!!!!  she really has a great unique voice, but just too gospel for my taste......  helen you took the words out of my mouth - church revival...... 

we need a rocker or a great country pop singer like carrie this year!!!!  KELLY is awesome, and always will be the queen , the first, but was wishing that Clay and Diana won the last 2 years......

now onto this season!!!!!  OH YEAH!!!  Connie is HOTT!!!

i am still rooting for my fav "C" man (Constantine) - he is just , well i can't express it here.  His band back home is actually REALLY good also, so even if he leaves AI, he is going to go far - way far, whether it be with his band "pray for the soul of betty!!!!" or by himself......  he is so good in theater also!!  i watched a few clips of his RENT performance, it was GREAT!!!!!

I just loved his rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody - OMG, I was just lovin it!!!  he likes talks through his eyes into the camera.  oooohhh baby!!  too much 4 me - lol lol

I am laughing so hard right now, a bunch of grown women watching AI like teenaged girls because of a hot guy!!!  I do it too.   >:D  Sixteen years ago when I met my husband, he had hair exactly like Constantine's, unfortunately genetics has caught up with him and he shaves his hair off to avoid the bald jokes.  And should my sister see this site...I told you that grown women do find Constantine attractive and it's not just 12 year old girls.  I still like Bo better but if it came down to him and Cons, Bo...I'm afraid will have to do with second place. 

I actually liked Constantine in the beginning, but I've tired of his constant mugging for the camera.  His vocals have improved greatly, though since the beginning.  I happen to think Bo is cuter, because he seems more genuine.

I just have one question...

Why the heck are Scott and Anthony still there?!?

And I think Carrie will win, unless something drastic happens.

I think Carrie is the best out of all of them. I don't like everyones fav Con. I thought when he did queen a few weeks ago he sounded terrible but did much better this week. I do believe Bo or Con will win though most likely Bo though. My thoughts on why he is going to win is silly but seems to be a pattern.. Paula does deserve a slap at times but I figure she'll get one sooner or later.  Randy, I tune him out and will continue to do so until he learns some proper english.  Simon, I love him and no matter what the voters say, the guy knows what he is talking about.  No matter who wins, if Bo puts out a CD, I'll buy it.  As for Nashville Star and Bret Michaels, his roots are heavily influenced in country.  It is something he has wanted to do for a long time and actually did do back in 2000 on his Country Demos CD.  I met him a couple of years ago after a Poison concert and again after a solo show in Wantaugh, NY, the guy is fantastic.  Although, he'll need to break away from the country scene next year when Poison gears up for their 20th year concert tour.  Am I really that old?   >:D

I totally agree that Anwar should still be there(hes prolly signing a record deal as we speak anyway...good voice)....I thought for sure Anthony or Scott (even tho I like Scott) would get the boot....big shocker!
I also tivo the show and fast forward to the good spots.....I think too that one of the rockers will win this year....they are soooo popular!!
I can't however even try to predict which one it will be.....they are both very cute!!

I think Vonsell did the Shaka-chan song excellent.....shes got a power house of a voice....where Carrie has the very pure vocals...Does anyone else miss Jessica Sierra....I do....I thought she had a very strong voice too....sad to see her go.

I like Scott's voice, but I don't like him.  He needs to learn how to accept criticism.  I really think that he is still there only because of his background sob story.  He sold people the minute he said, "And my daddy said I'd never amount to anything....".  It's the same thing with Anthony.  I think Anthony has an incredible voice, but he lacks stage presence.  He endeared himself to the voters with his amazing story of his recovery when they never thought he would talk, let alone sing.

I'd say No to Scott but Anthony Maybe....only because Anthony's looks appeal to teenyboppers.  I don't want to get the Scott lovers mad but I'm sorry, I can't stand his attitude.  I've tried to get over it but I can't.  Does anyone remember the beginning of the season when they narrowed the field down to a few hundred and paired them off into groups of three?  Scott took off and left his two partners unable to practice for the next day's audition?  He had a rant about he didn't come here to be grouped with other people, he came here to perform by himself.  That did it right there, sorry buddy, wrong attitude, he should of been booted then.  All I can say is his sob stories won't pull on heartstrings for long, all one needs to do is look into his eyes.  The eyes don't lie...he's about as sincere as a snake.  I wish they'd stop comparing Anthony to Clay, he is nothing like him. Clay grew as a singer and performer as the competition went on...I have yet to see any growth in Anthony.

I'm a big fan of the show and we have watched every episode since show 1 season 1.  I think the biggest problem with the wrong people being voted off is the way the voting is done.  Should be 1 vote per phone # and should be voting for who should go, not who should stay.  This way, who ever has the most fans or relatives, or whatever can get tons of people to vote multiple times, no matter how much they stink.  Remember the redheaded kid from last season??  He stayed wayyyyyy longer than he should have, because he had lots of people who voted for him no matter how bad he was.

Oh, and Bo gets my blood going every single time.  Con is good looking, but a bit too boyish for me.  Bo is dark and hot.

ya know i am just so smitten with him, and it is not that he is even the best singer on this season, but he is just so darn sexy, he works the stage, picks good songs, and has the "X" factor in my eyes, and is different and i love his voice!!!! 

i always have picked my favs usually within the first week or so, and i stay with that, might add one or two as the season progresses, but i go by who i like, not the favs, but so happens that my favs are usually the popular one's.  like this year, i loved con's audition and knew he would be one of my favs!!! he is HOTT HOTT HOTT

i really do not think that scott is up to caliber with his vocals, he has a good voice, but not AI winner kinda voice, i really thought he would have been gone by now.....  anthony is funny, good  4 the tween girls, but not a really great voice, i think if he could sing marc anthony or jon secada songs all the time, he would do alot better, his voice has a latin sound, but he can never really show that off.  carrie has a great voice, but she is kinda boring for me, doesn't really get into it,  but i love her singing country - perfect at martina mcbride songs, she will prob get a deal i think in country genre, and i hope she does, i would buy it, and of course i would buy a bo or con album - they rock!!!  i think they are just the one's to beat, with the most presense on stage, and they just got it!!!!  i am soooo tired of the R&B winners (ruben and fantasia)......  Kelly is my girl and always will be, she is great!!!!!  love clay's voice also, but he is just so dorky, ruben and fan were good, but only on show, did not like their albums,  so i am ready for my con man now!!!!  his band just got a record deal, and there are a few good songs on there, but i prefer him singing more of the rock/pop, versus the sound of his band!!!  his solo record willl be AWESOME!!!  ok im done ranting now!!!  hee hee

he really does give a great performance though!!!!  on the AI message boards it was rumored that he was going to sing a Train song, and that would have been wonderful for his vocal range!!!!  he needed to show it off more tonite, and leave the hardcore rock songs to bo......  ya know his band back home is rock, but i prefer him singing more rock pop or classics better!!!!!

bo did do great tonite, but he too has had some shaky weeks.  i think that he is a rocker to the core, and that is all he should sing for his vocals.  where as constantine has a different range and sounds better not as hard core rock as bo sings....

scott is going home i believe!!!!  i really think that on his audition song he did well, but has not impressed me since then, i think his vocals were horrible tonight, and it seems like he knew it, and was not confident singing it.....

carrie is a country girl and should always stick to that, she will get a country deal i am sure, but should have picked a different song i thought...

actually anthony did well i think.  when he started off, i was like OMG no no no, but he sounded great on the rest of the song....

vonzell has a good voice, but we do not need antother R&B singer to win it, i do not think......

Hey everyone.....I was a little dissappointed last night with most proformers....I liked Vonsell and Anthony actually did great.....my daughter is finally coming around and starting to like him...I think they had the best 2 proformances last night....lol.

Poor Scott it was like he knew he was going to go home and just didn't put his heart into the song.
I think he's going home too...only a mirical will save him.
I think he will be ok and maybe even get a contract....he needs to get over his hardships in life and adopt a better attitude....I still like him.

I feel the judges telling Constantine his vocals were not good was too harsh....Bo's song did not show off great vocals either but they praise him up & down....now don't get me wrong I like both these rockers....but I think the judges are bias in there opinions...how many rock songs have a lot of those long high notes we all love anyway....its a hard catagory to sing in....I think they both did equally ok not great but ok....Carrie dissapointed me big time....she has a ton of country songs she could of sang that would of really showed off her voice and her choice last night was a bad one.

Constantine is the best looking contestant but he killed an excellent song by an excellent band better luck to him next week

In regards to American Idol I do think Constantine is going to win that one. In regards to that song he killed, way I see it no one is perfect, so maybe he just had a "off" night. I try to judge a person by how they sound, not by their looks.

First off...I am so glad that Bo is still on (had no doubts).  Next, when are people going to get the concept of AI voting?  You are supposed to be voting for who should stay, who's the best, etc.  Scott's sad sob story is old news, people need to take a deep listen (if it's tolerable to their ears) and realize his singing is flat, pitchy, and grating to the nerves as compared to the other idols.  It's time to send him packing...I've decided no matter what happens next week, I'm voting for the entire 2 hours for everyone but Scott.  Last night, when he started catterwalling, I actually turned around and checked to see if they had put William Hung back on the stage.  Enough is enough, I take music very seriously (more seriously than badges on Pogo) and he is butchering just about everything that comes out of his mouth as of late.  He started out ok but has not grown at all.  My only satisfaction is that he will not win the competition and any deal he may make in the future will result in the same scenario as Justin...dropped due to lack of record sales.

Oh I hated Justin, he wasn't even that cute.  Only reason he made it that far was his fans..and that's the only way these people stay in the competition

To compare someone with a child to four others who don't is not a fair comparison.  They are all doing it for the same reason, some people just love to throw children in to make it sound better.  Most people do a lot of things to make their lives better for their children, they just don't parade in front of millions to win votes.  My problem with Scott is his attitude, his stories focus on the negatives in his life to gain pity.  It's not all his fault either, AI should keep those stories for Oprah.

I think a lot of people have bad relationships...Scott is NOT the only guy to ever have a conflict with his child's mother...we weren't there... we don't know the whole story... maybe she was messin around on him and he got upset.... who knows....the fact that matters the most is he loves his child.

I think he has a very soothing voice although he does need to develop it more....he has a lot of fans...more than I even thought....was sure he'd get the boot tonight....I am sad to see Constantine go but , I have a feeling he's gonna do OK in the very near future.

hello every1, as you all know it is a sad night for me - boo hoo boo hoo!!!   i am still so upset, i cannot even think.  i watched the east coast broadcast on my satellite, because i could not wait to find out.  i really am stunned!!!!!  just getting on now, for i have been in shock for a few hours!!!!  all i can say is i cannot believe it!!!  i just love his voice, originality, performances and everything - not just his looks!!!!  he is just FAB!!!!  i loved past idol contestants, and they were not much to look at, just voice, but never has anyone stood out as such an overall great performer, even my girl kelly had to grow into performing....  he is just so good.  do not get me wrong there have been a lot of great idol contestants, and i do like bo and i do like carrie, but she needs to stick to country and sing the right songs, although she did do very great at the beginning of the bee gees emotions song tonite..... and bo will do good with a lynrd skynard type sounding album, but he seems to not have a lot of the range that connie does, especially low notes - he was practically whispering tonite on that bee gees song, on the low notes - but he still rocks!!!! i would buy his album, and i am sure if he does not win, he will get one anyway, but scott - WOW, i am shocked, he just does not have that great of a voice i think - sorry scott fans, good audition vocal, but boring rest of time!!!!  he just kinda stands there on stage, i prefer more movement!!!  i really do not have an opinion about vonzell, good, but another r&b idol we do not need, and well anthony is a good tween pop guy.  so now bo gets my votes!!!!!! 

now onto more constantine - WWWAAAAAA  boo hoo   - did i already say that i am so upset??  oh yeah i did.....  barb i need ya babe, we need to go on over to the connie boards to get our fix i guess!!!!!! gosh i am so bummed..... i think that these are reasons that he might be gone because with his fan base, i really do not see how he could have been the bottom at all, let alone voted out.....

1.  pray for the soul of betty, his band, just got their record deal, and maybe his ai contract would have kept him from doing the deal with them, i am not sure but afterall he is the lead vocals for the band, maybe he had to get out of it.....
2.  i am not sure if the contest is rigged, you never know, but maybe, just maybe ai knew who was going to get the most votes, and maybe they opened fewer lines for him.........
3.  maybe the show or people knew he would do so well after the show,and maybe others would not, so it is for the best....

who knows, i could go on and on, but just my opinion or ideas, overall this is not the last of him!!!!!!  he is so talented with his music, his band, his theater history, his performances, his writing of music, not to mention so sexy - he will be BIG, very big i know it!!!!  and now his band has the promos they need also, they are already so pumped up because of him - it is great, and there sound is so different than what he was singin on ai too, so it should be interesting!!!!!  i look forward to his solo stuff soon!!!!! he will do more outside of music also - hmmm dare i say a calendar?  or better yet playgirl - wooo hooo baby!!!   :o    :o   sound good barb????

Cali, I feel your pain.  I sat in disbelief, I think that was the biggest AI shocker I have ever witnessed.  I had to call my sister and she was as stunned as I was, although we are big Bo fans, we expected Con to be in the top 3 and probably even winning the whole thing.  A day later, I'm almost betting the fault lies with some of the fans who believed their man would win so they got lazy on the voting.  It goes to show...don't give up, vote the entire 2 hours if you must.  The only thing that sucks for his fans is the "no-record deal" clause that forbids him from signing any contracts for 3 months after AI ends for the season.  I'm sure he'll do just fine after that, this isn't the last anyone has heard from him.

Cali I feel your pain, i was in shock when i posted he lost last night and still am.  I still stick with my favorite "BO" but now after this weeks results my toes are crossed also for Bo. In hope another crazy voting week is not in store for next week.

I have a strong feeling I know why Scott is doing good...there is a website out there encouraging people to vote for the worst just to make a mockry out of the show and the real talent and they've labeled Scott as their posterboy for worst American Idol.  If my sister saw that site she'd have a cow and the barn to go with it, as she is way more serious about the outcome of this show than I am.  BTW...I've just scored tickets to see Clay Aiken this summer...figured it would be good for the kids, my 4 year old likes him.

You know, I was thinking that Paula/Con thing when I saw her reaction.  I've not watched the show religiously, but I've never seen her get that choked up when someone was voted off.

Con will be fine.  I'm sure that he will have more than a few offers after the show.

It pains me to say this, but I think tonight it will be bye-bye Anthony.  I don't like Scott and his attitude, but he sang the heck out of "On Broadway".  Anthony didn't pull out either song.

I do know one thing, it's gonna be really hard to choose between Bo and Carrie for the final vote. 

I'm afraid it might be Anthony too...his lines were too easy to get through last night.  We got through 8/10 times.  My sister and I pulled a last ditch effort to help get Scott outta there.  Ugh...we spent 1 1/2 hours voting on 2 lines apiece (land and cell) for Anthony.  I'm just fed up with Scott and his attitude, he actually has no place on the show..talent wise, neither does Anthony but we went for the lesser of two evils, at least Anthony seems nice.  If for some reason Anthony does make it through, he's on his own next week, we're voting for Vonzell (if she's still there).  I believe the top 3 should be Bo, Carrie, and Vonzell.  We spent the first half hour voting for Carrie, Bo, and Vonzell...those lines were hard to get through.

 :-\I am very saddened when they announced that constantine had to leave :'(. I havnt even turned it to fox since that. I just pick one person i think is the best and when they get voted out i just stop watching it. I vote for him every week. Maybe others are just as good ill watch the next one.

I have to agree that the affair probably happened.  It's just perfect timing for Clark to get all the publicity he needs for his record and book.  He wouldn't have sold to more than his family unless his name got back out in the spotlight.  As it is, I know the clips of the singing that were shown last night on PrimeTime were horrible.  I wouldn't waste the space on my computer to even DL that crap.   :P

well i do not know if i can say yes or no about the whole clark/abdul issue?  it seems like great timing for him with his deals coming out and needing the publicity, him and his friends and family seemed a little shady to me, but then again who knows???  if paula is so sick and kinda loopy from the pain and painkillers as she put it, maybe she was not thinking clearly?  how did they have that message from her?  they are saying it was edited in, but corey does not seem like he is too bright to be able to even do all those things.....  i am so leaning towards no, but you never know.....  seems kinda weird that a show such as abc primetime live would make such a big deal without having more credibility, but then again, they did get the best ratings last night, so guess everyone is just into publicity stunts...  who knows????

Hey everyone....man was I busy this weekend....had a few friends over Friday night and everyone got a bit tipsy....NOT me tho...lol...i had one glass of wine...and gathered everyones keys....then Saturday had more folks over and sat around the new firepit...it was nice.....Barb me and Jess made out pretty good sunday morning close to 100 dollars in peoples spare change....people were so great....even had a lady give me a bunch of hand made rosaries she made and had blessed by priests....she gave to me to give to anyone who donated....very sweet lady.....shes losing her battle tho according to her hubby....I swear I could of just cried my eyes out for her.We had so many people telling us there stories...it's truly amazing!!

Anyway about A.I. I missed the show about Abdul/Clark....I heard a commercial for the prime time thing but wasn't sure what it was about....was she with Constantine too???

I don't really care one way or the other who she sleeps with but I didn't know she was thinking of leaving the show....sheesh between Randy and his "dog this and dog that" he makes me nuts some nights and Paula thinking of leaving and Simon kinda acts like he doesn't even wanna be there most of the time....the judges will have the show canned if they don't knock it off....lol.

I think Anthony will prolly be the one to go this week then it should get interesting again.

I couldn't pick between Bo,Carrie and Vonsell they are all good.

hey there all.  hope you all had a nice mom's day.  just got back online this morn after a long weekend......

kinda disappointed with show last night, except bo's second performance - it was FAB!!!!  it rocked!!  loved it. 

carrie was alright on first, but she is no dixie chick, and amy adams did that song last year, and did it way better I thought!!  her second performace was the same song as anthony's - which i thought was weird that they would let them do that, but maybe a good thing, because she was super boring and anthony did a way better job at it..

what was the deal with vonzell crying and messing up, seemed strange!!!  i never really have an opinion about vonzell, yes she has a good voice, but just not standing out in my opinion.....   

anthony does have a good voice, but just boring for me - his version of "If you Don't Know Me By Now", was way better than carries version of the song, i agree with randy on this one - that he did a simply red version well, but he is still boring, and simons comments - i agree with him most of the time, except his "con bashing", but he just seems like he is so bored and done with the show......

the show did not seem to me to have any paz-azz except for bo's "For the Love of Money", which was great!!!

i voted for bo last night and hardly had any busy signals when i tried - strange!!!, but could not vote that often, for my baby was sick...

we will see tonite!!!  until then!!!  HAGD all!!!   ;)

I admit that Anthony was actually good last night, not great...that's reserved for Bo.  I had a heck of a time getting through on Bo's number...maybe 3 times in 2 hours.  Anthony's was busy too...I felt he deserved some votes for last night's performance.  I guess some places are reporting that Fox erred on the numbers again...they put 01 after Bo and Anthony's numbers in their Closed Captioning boxes.  I haven't heard anything officially from Fox about it, so it could be some journalists adding more fuel to the AI fires.  I'm resigned to the fact that even if Bo doesn't win, I'd go out and buy a CD he put out anyway.  I wouldn't buy one from any of the other one's on the show.  I just got Fantasia's from last year and it is very good, she's an excellent singer as long as she does that and stops screaming during live performances.

I couldn't believe how good Anthony did last night, but I fear it was too little too late.   I'm just hoping he can beat Vonzell, because I really don't want to have to hear that harpy shriek through a song for 1 more week. 

I couldn't believe how off Carrie was on that second song.  I'm sure it's not enough to hurt her chances in the top 2, I'd say that's pretty much decided.  It will be a hard choice for me between Carrie and Bo. 

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!  One more week of the shrieking!   >:(

I really am sorry to see Anthony go, but overall, it's the right choice.  I just don't think it agreed with last night's performances.  Am I the only one that starting crying because of Carrie's reaction to it all?   :'(

Darn i didn't get to see this weeks shows but i am happy to hear that Bo's still in it... He's my favorite but I am not sure if he will last  :-\ Because I gotta admit the other two are very good also

I think Carrie sang the best tonight, but by the sound of the crowd it may be a toss up and Bo may win.  They might be a lot more teeny boppers out there that will vote for him.  But I hope Carrie gets it.  Just my opinion......

Carrie won....both are really good..but I was going for Bo.....gotta love the rocker with the long hair.....yummmmmmmmm...LOL ;) :D 8)  Hope hubby dont read this...LOL :-X

I was hoping for Bo but I knew it would be Carrie, she really shined Tuesday night at the finals.  They are both going to get record contracts, the second place finisher always does.  I believe the biggest Idol record sellers are Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken.  And to think Clay was the runner-up to Rueben.  I know they are signing her to a Pop contract but I have a feeling she's going to be a crossover to country.  I agreed with the judges, the two that should of been up there last night were.

You better watch out Badge Hog or Barb will get you in the worst way.......LOL.  I was happy when Carrie won, because she did sing the best on Tuesday night, but I know Bo will go far also.
