Who here hates aol? i acnxceklkled an account so what do they do? bill me and make another accoutn and only pay me for one account :S those fuc*ers

For this thread I must digress... I can't comment on this subject anymore... I have saved 2 people this month from AOL... I must rest....  Then my crusade can continue...  8)

I did a Google search for you.

They recommend you call and not email them. They also say that they will try to talk you out of it. Just keep telling them no.

You'll have to pay $25 for the first year. Then $5/month after the first year.

Call 1-888-265-8003 and tell them you want to cancel your account.

I was readying a forum on the net about 2 months ago about disgrunteled aol users. some of the tactics they try to get you to stay is scary

Well they want to do what ever they can to get you to stay so they can get theremoney i know hopefully sooner or later someone will sue AOL lol.

I think 3 months free is a good deal though even if aol is like hell on ice.

What would happen if you took the 3 free months and then called back up and cancelled anyway? Would they try to bill you for those months? ???
