While I personally do not embrace the rapture theory, I loved the Left Behind Series. Greeeeeeeeat story, and being a Christian I do believe it's a great interpretation of the end days. What is Babylon Rising about?

Covet, A Novel of the Fallen Angels by J.R.Ward came out today. (I got mine a couple weeks ago at WalMart) It is the first book in a new series and it's amazing.

Also, if you like edgy vampire novels, J.R.Ward also does a series called The Black Dagger Brotherhood and it is amazing as well.

The Black Dagger Brotherhood is easily my all time favorite series and The Fallen Angels series is just as good.
The BDB came out first, and is still active. The Fallen Angels is new but takes place in the same location as the BDB but can be read separately.

BDB really needs to be read in order. If you're interested, here is the reading order:

Several GoodReads authors (I am not one of them) have compiled a book of short stories. http://menage-a-20.com/ I have read some of them and they are actually pretty good. I was contacted by one of the authors today asking if I would post the link in the various groups I belong to. It's a free download, you don't have to register for the site or anything like that. They are just wanting to get as many people as possible to read the stories. I've been told that there are a couple of stories with a slightly erotic theme, so be sure to check them out before passing them on to kids.

I kinda became obsessed with MaryJanice Davidson recently. She is hilarious. She has the undead series (vampires in minnesota), a royal series (alaska is a country and the monarchy is awesome), mermaids, faeries, werewolves. She did a teen series with her husband about a girl who is a dragon (Jennifer Scales). I'd have to say the Betsy Taylor undead books are my favorites, but fred the mermaid is a close second. Isn't that the truth? If you love historicals with a little heat, check out Julie Garwood. Her novels are sooooooooooo good!

I really like David Weber, especially his Safehold series. But I'm a Sci-Fi/Fantasy fan myself, although I'll read just about anything good. My favorite all time author is Isaac Asimov.

If you like Sci-Fi, do you read UF? Urban Fantasy? I don't care too much for that genre, but there's a series by Adrian Phoenix called The Maker's Song and I really like that one.
