I feel stupid for asking, but where exactly do you find the event in the game. I can't see it.

Now that I read it some more, I think it just means to play the boards. I thought it was an actual event

Yeah, I think you may be right. I wrote the title this way, because Pogo calls it "Lucky 7's Event" on the rotating banner.
